I purchase the Fire tv sick so I can have access to amazon's video library and stream Netflix for the $25 and I jumped on it. If your tv has an hdmi port then you too can enjoy episodes of your favorite shows on netflix, amazon, HBO go and a few others without the need of buying a smart tv

The Amazon Fire TV stick is an outstanding lightweight way to access most of today's content online. The remote is better for a family that doesn't want to tie up a smartphone or tablet with becoming a remote (Chromecast).

This is my 2nd Fire Stick. I originally bought one for my living room. I am primarily using it for Kodi and occasionally watching YouTube. It works great for me with these applications. I have also been using it for screen mirroring from my Samsung phone. Overall it is a great product.

I'm a full time student with meager funding. I can't afford cable at the moment, only internet service. So glad I purchased a Firestick. It is way better than cable. I've had no problems whatsoever with it. I highly recommend it!

We bought the firestick to test it to our apple tv's. The firestick is easier to move from on television to another but it is not quite the same quality of apple. The firestcik seems to constantly pause while you are watching and will skip a few seconds of the show. This can be annoying when you are using this in place of cable. Overall it is a good product and I am happy to have purchased it.

The ease of use and functionality of this streaming stick is much better than others. I have a chromecast as well as a Roku stick and this one is much better than both. The options and the application availability is the best.

It's a cheap but fast device. It is an Amazon stick, so it's to be expected, but it heavily favors Amazon Prime content in the interface. I use it mostly for Netflix, so I rarely use any other part of the interface. If all you need is a streaming device for YouTube and Netflix, this is really the best value for what you're paying. It's much zippier than other streaming sticks. However, it's kind of limited by the Amazon app store offerings. It's not that easy to find apps (I had to download them through my computer's web browser) and some of the apps are janky, like the YouTube app. There's a lot of potential though. I have an iPhone and I downloaded an Airplay app on the fire stick and it reliably works as an airplay receiver. Something else to note is that this stick does NOT support Google Cast, which is what modern android phones use to cast from their devices. If you use major services like Netflix or YouTube though, those phone apps (on both android and ios) have their own casting system, so you'll be able to cast from your YouTube or Netflix app to this stick.

Debated between this and the Chromecast, and since I already had an account with Amazon.com, the Fire TV Stick won. And, what a winner of a device this is. Besides the little annoyance of having to enter codes for registering some of the apps, this device suits all of my viewing needs.

The Firestick is a life saver. We can move it from TV to TV and even use it on your laptop. It comes in handy when you are on the road and you want to watch your movies/shows on Netflix. It even has games to download to keep the children busy. Not hard to install and it is very simple!

Products works great, easy to use, easy to setup, and provides a great picture.

I've owned the Amazon Fire TV Stick now for about a month. My family and I have been enjoying it very much, and we haven't even explored its full potential yet, as we only use it to watch Youtube kid's learning videos with our children and an occasional Amazon Prime move here and then.

If your a netflix and amazon person this is the streaming stick for you. In comparison to the chromecast, the fire stick can be the better choice if your an amazon prime member. If your a google or android nut then go with chromecast. Basic question what are you going to use it for.

I had a regular non "smart" tv and the firestick has allowed to be able to watch my Netflix and Hulu without any issues. I def say it is a good product. Really easy to use so easy I also bought one for my 7 year olds tv and she navigated through it like a champ. Satisfied customer.

bought this after seeing commercial for it. We have loved having it especially since I dont even have a blue ray player yet so dont have all the apps. my 2 year old grand daughte even can take it and turn it on to watch her shows she likes like curious george . This was a great invention.

Just as reviewed everywhere. Had to put in my Amazon Prime username and password, some blogs say how it makes the process more complicated. I disagree, had it up and running in minutes. Found it very user friendly. Plus you get some much to watch for free. And access to many pay programs.

My family uses this everday to watch nextflix in our living oom. I ended up purchasing another for my daughter's room. Easy to use, cheaper alternative to a Smart TV. Requires no updating. Only problem is the Youtube app. stopped working for some reason on both of our firesticks.

We cut off our cable about four years ago and have been using the digital antennae. I purchased the fire stick and absolutely love it! I feel like we have cable again without the monthly fees. It's very user friendly and has many options to include playing family games together!

I bought this item for play Netflix and youtube to my 4yo kid, which normally see cartoons on netflix and funny animal videos on youtube, I dont have the amazon video account and I dont think I need it right now, but even like this this are the $40 best spent on this xmas season.

I got this for the t.v. in the living room. Works good for Netflix hulu and prime videos. Also some other interesting channel's not sure how much I'll watch those but fun to check out. Setup was easy just plug into hdmi and power that's it. I have a roku stick and I like this much better.

I've had about four Roku's before purchasing the Amazon stick. One of the immediate differences that I have noticed was the speed. The Amazon stick is undeniably faster and smoother. However the Roku has more apps and channels supported as well as a screen mirroring interface. For now I think I will stick with my Roku devices until Amazon updates and increases their app offerings.
