The Amazon Fire Stick plugs directly into an available HDMI port on your TV. Comes with an easy to use remote and a power cord that can be plugged into an available USB port on your TV. For those of you without an available HDMI port these will work on HDMI switchers. I have tested my fire stick on a DVDO Green and a Psyclone HDMI switcher.

not great not bad

I use a lot of screen mirroring and the stick keeps closing and freezing. Maybe its my phone, i dont know but the overall experience i guess is a 7
