The fire stick is great for being easily portable where ever you are. You always have access to your prime account when you are with friends or family. My younger children love it because when they have company they just plug it into their TV and go at it with their friends. A great alternative to having to buy them the fire box and worry someone will knock it off the table or dresser.

I used to have a Chromecast and I liked it a lot. I gave it to my parents and got the Fire Stick. I like that the fire stick is stand alone and don't need to use your phone. It is really fast when opening apps. But sadly no YouTube app because of the beef with Google and Amazon.

I purchased the fire stick so i could get Sling. Our cable company requires us to rent top boxes for all of our TV's in the house. Shame on the cable company. The Fire Stick also streams Netflix and of course Amazon prime. I get all the entertainment need with the Fire Stick.

For quick, no-worry viewing of Amazon prime, Hulu and Netflix, the firetv stick is perfect. It doesn't offer much space or important features like the ability to use Bluetooth speakers or headphones like the firetv box, which is important if you have to use a HDMI to DVI cord on older HDTV's (which don't carry audio through), but overall it is pretty much perfect for the price.

The Fire stick performs great. I bought it for my mom and she really enjoys it. The device is a piece of cake to operate and Best Buy had it for a great price. All around pleased!!

We recent took the leap and cut the cord. I did lots of research on what streaming device to go with. First I tried Chromecast which was recommended by a friend. It was ok, but after further reading I decided to return the Chromecast and get the Fire TV Stick. And I'm glad that I did. It has way more options and apps. Also the fact that we are Amazon Prime members also opens up a lot more content to watch. We also have PlayStation Vue which is like a cable service through Sony. The Fire Stick as the Vue app so we can watch up to 55 cable channels for under $40 through the fire stick. It's also has games and tons of other apps that I haven't even ventured into yet. It does have issues every know and again with lagging but that could also be from my wifi and not necessarily the fire stick. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I purchased this not knowing just how valuable this would end up being. Both my husband and I are so happy that we have this and use it every day. When not watching television, I listen to my music from my Prime library on it. It was so easy to set up, literally plug and play.

Was looking for device to help in accessing various TV functions. Son suggested that we take a look at. Priced at several different locations and Best Buy had the best price. Glad that we purchased. Has made things easier.

Love the Amazon TV Fire Stick. Setup was easy and love the availability for searching for many things. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes there is lag in the streaming and pauses shows I am watching. I still think this is the best product out there, and it has made me cancel my cable.

This fire stick aloud me to download so many apps and tv shows that I never imaging it was possible, some programs that I didn't even know they existed plus its super easy to use just plug it in and follow directions.

SET UP WAS EASY. STREAMS WELL. SOMETIMES HAS A TOUGH TIME STARTING HBO TO GO.

It's a nice little gadget for a very affordable price. You can stream all Amazon prime content if you are a member or just use it as a media streamer with apps like Netflix, Hulu, and others. It also has most of the main networks apps to stream free tv shows. The only downfall is that it loads a little slow especially on another floor of the house even with 50 Mbps Internet.

Before I bought the Amazon Fire stick I already had an Xbox One and Apple TV so I've had experience with streaming devices, all be it expensive one, but I bought the Fire Stick because I wanted something in my bedroom perminately so I didn't have lug the Apple TV up and down the stairs and have to unhook and hook it up. I have to say the Fire Stick works just as well as my Xbox and Apple TV when it comes to streaming. I've yet to have a problem with it and even though in comparison to these beefier machines, there has been no lag or buffering. If you want a streaming device at a low cost this is for you.

I am extremely pleased with this little guy.It streams movies and tv programs and is extremely easy to assemble and use.i would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stream content on their tv.The price is great too.

Much cheaper than Google or Roku or others! Easy to set up and use!!! I would recommend this to anyone. I gave one to 2 of my Granddaughters, so I am ordering another for me! This will be a total of 3 that I have bought!!!

I have and use Apple TV, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV and they're all great but for the price this Fire Stick is awesome. Picked up two when they were on sale for $25! Netflix and Amazon video streaming are smooth and it's simple to add any additional apps your want.

Cable TV has gotten so expensive that we decided to stop using it. Now we use the Fire Stick and internet service only and it is working great for us. We added Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu for our programming.

I fell in love with this thing after I finally figured out that I didn't need to use the connector thingie! It's really awesome; does what it's supposed to do. If you're having issues with lagging or pausing, remove the connector piece and stick it directly into the hdmi port. :-)

My wife and I picked up a Roku several months ago and when my father-in-law saw it in action, he fell in love with it. We use our Roku primarily for TV and movies using Time Warner Cable, but unfortunately they don't offer an AT&T U-Verse. Enter the Fire Stick. Got this for my in-laws for Christmas and they were up and running with their favorite shows and movies in no time.
