Great product..easy to use remote and access is also easy

I was going to upgrade to a smart tv, but after talking to an associate at best buy, I was assured that this firestick would ignite my quest for additional programming for a minimum of investment. being on a budget, this was great for us. wheee!!

I was interested in this product to see if I could use it to replace my cable at home. It is an adjustment. You have to search for your shows and you can't watch them live (the night they are on). At least, I always look for them after they have aired. I am still getting used to the stick but I think it's an awesome product for the price.

The Amazon Fire Stick offers convenience, selection and ease of use in the vast array of online entertainment. I personally would have preferred a few additional sport related online options, but the cost vs features makes it a very good product.

After using it for about a month, I can say it is an excellent product, previously used the connection to my TV Panasonic Smart, access was not very fast compared to Fire TV which is pretty fast in the process of selection of the films is pretty good.

I love my firestick. It has a lot of apps without having to buy Amazon Prime which is nice. Great for someone like me who does not have a Smart TV. Fast and easier to use than using Netflix on my Nintendo Wii. I bought one as a xmas gift too.

Purchased the Amazon fire stick for a Christmas stocking stuffer for my college-aged daughter. Of all the expense gifts I bought, this $25 gift is the most loved and treasured. It was easy to set up and does exactly what it is designed to do.

I was resistant to purchasing this due to the spotty performance of this products primary competitor Google Chromecast. I was pleasantly surprised that the Amazon Firestick was easier to use and way more reliable. Very happy with the purchase!

I purchased this as an add on to an open box TV I was purchasing that happened to not be a Smart TV (and had convinced myself I would be going Smart TV). Adding this item was meant to basically cover that feature gap and it somewhat works well for that purpose. However, I kept it from a 5 star for a few reasons. 1. The support for apps is still pretty lacking... I think the free ones is under 20 for like video watching stuff (but growing - just got HBO Now). 2. Not a fault of the functionality but I would say to check Amazon Prime offerings first and see if the value is there. 80% of the movies are unheard of titles (though a decent selection of TV seasons) and you need to know your $99/yr is worth it. 3. Perhaps again not related to the actual item but I get lots of freezes watching live ESPN or even movies on HBO app. My laptop and cell phone in the same spot (within 5 ft) connected to the router seem to have no issues but perhaps it IS the router so I can't 100% say the Stick is to blame. Overall - still a great item but maybe more like a 3 if rating my "satisfaction", I give it a 4 knowing things like routers and not researching its offerings are not a fault of the product.

easy to use and allows me to find movies or tv shows easily. Even have the ability to show me where to buy or rent or which app would have it already. Great to use with ur Amazon prime acct. if u do not have Amazon prime, it will not be as usedul

I purchased this item on sale. It is incredibly easy to set up and utilize. It can be used even without an amazon prime account (i.e. if you only have netflix, hulu, etc.) The picture quality is great and the iphone app associated with it is quite easy to use. This is a must for someone looking to convert their regular tv into a "smart tv.'" Highly recommended.

I use mine in the Kitchen and can play catch up with old TV series while eating breakfast or lunch. Its also useful to display recipes while cooking it will also pair with alexa for hands free viewing and channel changing.

I got this at a great price and wanted to get this to expand our TV experience because the Apple TV didn't have Amazon Prime. We mainly use this for Amazon Prime and it works well. The navigation is pretty easy and the directions they give you when you first set it up is useful. I would recommend this as an addition to the home system.

I have used Roku, Apple TV 2, XBox 360, XBox One and Chromecast for streaming. Of all of them, I think Amazon Fire Stick is the best on wifi. I got the Amazon Fire TV Stick when it was first announced. Except for a little flaky performance for Netflix on the Amazon Fire Stick which was poorer in comparison to the same on Roku and a remote which can get lost because of the superlight weight and size even with two AAA batteries, I was happy overall. It is very responsive and the remote has more needed buttons than the Apple TV and less bulkier than a Roku remote. Easily a household favorite and I have ended up attaching a Fire TV stick to all the TVs in the house.

The Fire Stick is an incredible little device. It is so flexible and has a ton of useful apps through the Android store. The only thing I wish it could do is be powered by the HDMI port of a TV to avoid an extra cable, but that's not its fault.

this is a great portability product and great performance

This product is great. The stick is very easy to set up and the remote is light and portable. As an Amazon prime member, I currently enjoy more entertainment than I can handle in a day. It is great value for money and filled with variety.

I bought this on a recent sale to upgrade from a Roku Stick. (In particular, one of the previous generation purple models) The Roku had a LOT of trouble with Netflix, along with a LOT of trouble consistently seeing my networked DLNA server. While I have had random issues with the Fire TV Stick (like the fact that my bedroom TV's USB port apparently isn't powerful enough to run the Stick, and the error message I got initially about not having enough power even though I plugged into an outlet with the included block and cable) it has been a significant improvement in terms of performance, and because I already paid the $5 for Plex to have streaming on my Kindle Fire, I also have that level of access on my Fire TV Stick.

My new favorite toy. This device is fast, pretty, and everything I always hoped one of these streaming devices would be. My buddy has a chromecast and this thing is twice the spead. No HBO Go? I am ok with this, but I am sure it will be added soon.

I thought of the idea to get the Amazon Firestick for my boyfriends sister for her new house that they just moved into. They absolutely love it! It was a great idea and I'm glad Best Buy had it because I didn't want to look somewhere else!
