Only good if you have an amazon prime account so you can watch the movies and tv shows. Also have the Netflix app on this so i can watch the movies from there as well. If youre not an amazon prime member not much you can do with this but watch neflix and some other apps.

It's ok if you don't have cable

Great Apps, Makes any TV "Smart"

I found the Fire display/interface a bit more modern and I liked the look. Access to all the apps that one would typically seek with a device like this - netflix, hulu, amazon, hbo, sling tv, etc. Only downfall is that it is spotty at times with connecting with my wifi - here and there, things will pause/spend some time buffering and such.

Solid streaming stick

It is somewhat bulky and won't but does come with an adapter to fit in tighter HDMI ports. It has a good size remote that sits comfortably in the hand. The user interface can be confusing and is not as simple as the Roku interface. According to the device site it can be used on hotel TV systems (not all streaming devices do, apparently) but I haven't had a chance to test it out
