Powerful hardware in a small package. Intuitive interface and easy to use. Highly customizable which allows for the installation of other softwares (i.e. kodi). I use it more than the built-in functions on my smart TV.

have had several in my house for over yr now and also give to family and friends for presents very good price as well had apple v before these and they are 1080 instead of 720 on the old apple tv much better product

The Amazon fire stick is nothing short of amazing. Awesome price, great value, excellent quality at the size of a chromcast but astronomically better. Another great feature is the mirroring capability on android. I'm sold.

I've been through 2 rokus, then decided to try the fire stick. Easy to use, and convenient when you don't have a smart TV or cable. Buffering occasionally is slow, but my internet speed is basic, so that's expected.

I have a kindle fire but use it mainly for reading so didn't have much expectations for the fire stick. I have to say it works very well! the apps run smooth no delays. Another great thing about it is its portability!

I bought the fire stick for its portability. That is great in itself and easy to carry with you if needed. The availability of quality apps is what lacks from this device. I wish Amazon would allow more apps from the appstore to be loaded and installed on this device without having to side loading everything.

Love the fire stick, I have a few of them for the home. Helps all my old TVs become smart TVS. Loading times pretty fast, the other option is the FireTV, but I do not have a 4K TV. Great netflix/amazon prime device

I enjoy the amazon Fire TV stick is fast and has lots of options. The installation was very fast and easy. The only negative is the Sleep option. Just like AppleTV the Sleep function puts the unit in standby position which some times it comes on by mistake, tha is why I give it four stars instead of five.

I bought this after Amazon discontinued support of the Bravia Internet VideoLink. The FireStick is 1000x better than the VideoLink. The menus are much easier to use and faster response. I wish I had bought it sooner.

We added an Amazon fire stick to our TV, having a prime membership already we found that there were lots of shows and movies that we could get for free. The device was plug and play and very simple to use and navigate.

This is my first streaming device. I bought it figuring if I don't like what it has to offer, i didn't spend much. But have been very impress with all I have been able to watch. Will eventually be upgrading to a streaming box but am glad these cheaper options exist for first time users as myself.

We choose to go with this versus the more expensive model because we do not need the games that came with it. This is great, though some of the apps that amazon says are available, really dont work. Love Netflix, and even went with the prime membership. Just wish they had more recent movies available

Love the Fire stick. This is our second one for our household for my son's room. He can now watch all the kids movies in his room. Has password lockout, so this is a plus as well for what you let your kids watch.

Recently signed up for Amazon Prime, and decided to also buy a fire stick. Actually, I purchased two. Good device you can take room to room or even when you travel to watch your favorite shows or cable network.

We have cable and yes, while cable does offer a lot in TV programming, it's insanely expensive. I was looking at the fire stick for a future alternative once our cable contract is over. Needless to say, my wife and I are both sold! We both can have our own shows we like under Amazon, and she was already a prime member, so that opens up to movies for those days you both want to relax. She's also into watching YouTube on our flatscreen for her makeup gurus, which makes her happy! We even signed up for Netflix and watch Netflix thru the firestick, so I can watch all my shows for example "hand of god" or every episode of futurama. Only quirk I would say is you need it next to the modem or a wifi extender. It feeds off your wifi and if not in range of your modem, then you'll need a extender like we purchased after. It will cut off or not play anything if the wifi signal isn't strong. But that should go without saying. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to either get out of having cable, or a alternative to cable!

Great device to stream TV shows and movies. Fast and easy to use. Only con about this device is that it needs an external power supply. Very nice to have and I'm planning on buy another one soon for the living room

I have become addicted to watching Marathons of shows on both Netflix and Amazon. This is a nice way to have all of those options at once. Also great to take with you when you travel so that you can have TV anywhere!
