You need an external power supply/USB port to use the device. If you are installing XBMC, you can enjoy the maximum potential of this device. Useless without stable high speed internet.

Good quality movies

Also the movie will lag with what the actors are saying, so you have to rewind often until it catches up...which can be a pain. We thought we would let this replace our Directv, but so far we haven't felt comfortable enough to only rely on FireStick

Cheaper Than Cable

I definitely will purchase another one with voice control for my other televisions. I love Amazon anyway and shop with using Prime, so this is just a perk to be able to watch everything at once. Happy Purchase

Great Budget Option, Spend Xtra on The Box

I did have issues with wifi dropouts initially but it has been solid for a couple months now. If you can afford the extra money go for the Fire TV Box. Less slowdown in the interface and you have the option to plug directly up to you internet connection if wifi isn't working
