It gets the job done (slowly)

Our second TV had no way of viewing the service. The Amazon fire TV was overkill so we decided on the firestick. It works as advertised but it is s l o w. It gets worse over time. for the money it just is at the point where it is still somewhat excusable. Unless sony opens up VUE to a browser (like Netflix) this is your cheapest and best option for now.
