Runs slow for what I wanted it to do. We use it in the living room for the Playstation VUE Service and it runs slower then the Fire TV. I would cough up the extra money to get the Fire TV.

I bought three Amazon TV fire sticks before giving up and buying Roku, which works great. The Fire Stick depends on using a wireless connection to get to the internet. One Fire Stick could not establish a wireless connection and therefore was defective. the other two, after working for a few days, connected to my local wireless, but was unable to connect with the internet. All other internet devices in this location were able to connect to the internet. The help number disconnected immediately of rang busy for a very long time.

When it works it is fine. However, it doesn't work about every other day. I'm constantly having to restart it and it drops Netflix like a hot potato forcing me to sign in every other time I watch it. Tonight it won't work no matter what I do. It "can't find an internet signal" despite the router being 6 feet away. My iPod doesn't have a problem finding a signal.

I don't like the fact that it didn't come with instructions on how to work it or set it up or function it. It should have these included or sell them already ready to go

Best Streaming Device for the price. I bought this device for 34.99 and its really worth the price. I really felt bad when i missed this offer during Black Friday for 24.99. The reason I mentioned Best because of its side loading KODI and there by making its way for many other apps. Most of the streaming apps or channels are available in KODI and this makes this device a special so that you dont have to use your laptop for viewing those. It has all other apps which the other streaming devices has. If you have amazon prime, you can watch amazon videos . Over all this is a great device to have which can offset your cable costs easily as all the channels are available in fire stick.

The item does not imply that I have to purchase all services for additional fee so I have a item that serves me no purpose

This item is slow to operate. Couldn't use Netflix half the time. Browsing through the menus of the fire stick, it was laggy. I would recommend getting an Apple TV.

It is difficult to search for different programs and to program your favorites. A lot of things that I would like to view, requires Amazon Prime or other charges.

This device is really great! I love it, easy set up, small and simple enough to move from one tv to another. Netflix loads up so fast and it has the popular apps already loaded on the device.

It is obviously a cheapo product to beat other in price. Don't buy if your time is valuable and you don't want to spend it rebooting this thing. Returned it.

I was excited to pre-order the fire stick. I also am using the ROKU Streaming Stick and wanted to compare the two. I DO NOT have Amazon Prime. Amazon Fire Stick- IF you have Amazon Prime this is definitely the way to go. It has all your movies and music right there ready to go. If you DO NOT have prime, I feel this streamer is lacking content. Amazon UI is not as clean as the ROKU, as it minimizes other content and "throws" the Amazon content in front of you. Great if you have Amazon Prime, not so good if you don't. Streaming has been very good for Netflix, and does start up faster than the Roku. Set-up for the AFS is easy and uncomplicated. ROKU Streaming Stick is easiest to use and the way to go if you do not have Amazon Prime. Roku has a ton more apps available and a cleaner interface. I'm like the Roku Streaming Stick more due to not having prime. Also, it is very easy for both my 5 and 2 year old to use. They are able to stream Disney, Netflix, and PBS without any help. Now one HUGE difference. You CAN install XBMC/KODI/SPMC on the Amazon Fire Stick. And I have this running smoothly since I got it. Roku CAN NOT install xbmc/spmc. Since the AFS runs KODI, it is my go to streamer now. If it wasn't for KODI, and not being a Prime member, I would have returned the AFS for another Roku streaming stick. Kodi/Spmc saved this from being returned.

This is a good a good product. Simple to use and with a nice and friendly user interface. Lots of apps available to download for free and others paid. Cons: What I don't like is that this needs to be plugged to a power outlet. Pros: Can be managed through a smartphone through the Amazon Fire App Has a Remote Control The best for for me was that it supports XBMC. This is by far the best media center app. It took me 10 minutes to install (yo have to install manually through your PC, look for tutorials, there are a few out there). Having XBMC changed completely the experience with this product.

I normally stay away from the sticks, but I tried this one out and while not that bad, it was too slow for me to browse hulu without getting frustrated.

The product and the price needs to met up with each other. I will donate them to my friends who would enjoy them and can sign up for free T.V.

I had to returned because for some reason I was not able to install netflix on it... So I prefer pay a little bit more and i bought an apple tv.

This is excellent device for turning any tv with a hdmi port into a smart tv. The advantages of the fire stick over other streaming devices is its price, functionality, ease of use and in my opinion the best feature is it ability to be adapt with other apps, to increase its versatility. I have bought about 6 of these over the last year and adapt them in order to gain even more flexibility. In comes standard with amazon prime, hulu, Netflix, youtube and a host of others, as well as games, but with a quick youtube search you can add many more apps. Which in my opinion gives it an edge up on other competition.

I would not recommend this product. spend a little more and get the fire tv. it's better and worth it.

I don't understand it much yet but I feel it could be a great tool. My boyfriend uses it a lot and loves it! So you just have to take the time.

But is slower in response time in comparison to my fire tv boxes. Sometimes requires a restart. So you are better off going with that.

Worst waste of thirty bucks I can remember! I never used it! I couldn't access UTube on it,(my reason for buying it in the first place!). The other services required a subscription fee, or a membership in Amazon Prime! Tech support was no help unfortunately! A big disappointment! The Best Buy associate who helped me obviously didn't understand the product! I was totally misinformed! Wish I had returned it right away!
