My family was looking forward to using this for streaming. We wanted to try it out after we hooked it up. The first thing that happened was that the setup wanted us to subscribe to Amazon Prime. The first 30 days would be free but after that they would charge my credit card $99. We just wanted to try it out and see if it worked first so we looked for all the promised free content. We couldn't find any. After browsing all the free stuff we settled on an old 1980's TV we liked but before it would start we would have to pay Amazon $1.99 to view one episode! We tried more "free" shows and movies and same thing. All $1.99 each. We couldn't access Netflix without subscribing to Prime first. What is the point of paying $39 for a stick and paying two subscriptions to watch Netflix when all I have to do is get my money back on the stick and hook my computer to my TV via HDMI cable and only pay for Netflix? Sorry but this stick is a money pit and its going back to the store.

I like this product, however, I am learning all the features, which is challenging. It was a breeze to set up though! without cable a lot of things can't be viewed. So make sure you have at least Netflix or Hulu to watch movies

This product doesn't work as well if your tv is mounted on a wall.

The fire stick works perfect every time! Streaming is good just make sure you have a high enough wifi so that it will stream with minimal buffering! Enjoy!!

The amount of apps is impressive and the fact that I can use it in my basement is great. I would recommend to have at least 100 mbps. Very good product!

nice streaming stick. not too expensive. not as powerful or polished as the roku stick but still a nice unit for travel. plus the ability to sideload certain programs helps round out the stick for when you are traveling.

I caught the one day special with the Amazon Fire Stick. With my Amazon Prime Account it was so worth it. I love streaming the wide variety of movies!!

Love the fact that we can take fire stick anywhere we go. Watch free shows movies and so much more. Saying goodbye to satellite/cable bill forever.

Amazon firestick is the best thing amazon could of came up with. It's easy to install and easier to navigate through varies of channels. My kids have one in their rooms it's that simple to operate. Thanks Amazon!

I love my amazon fire stick. It is so easy to use and the set up took no time at all. I use it almost daily. I recommend getting one yourself.

Great media player, if you have an amazon prime account you definitely need this it's easy to use and it doesn't require that much space.

I don't have a smart tv. This device has allowed me to upgrade my current tv's to be smart capable at a very cheap price. I am very satisfied.

This Amazon fire stick is great. It is small and I can take it anywhere and be able to watch just about anything as long as wifi is around.

I would give this item a 5 star rating except for the use of the remote is frustrating sometimes. Otherwise the use is simple and easy to setup. Mainly purchased for the use of my Plex service and Netflix.

Love the fire stick, its so simple to use, just plug into HDMI port and power, and its good to go. I have one for every TV in my house
