Amazon Fire TV is a high quality product, I just got the stick to save some dollars, I already have a Roku 3 so I wanted to give a shot at the Fire TV Stick. For the price it is an excellent product, you can download a ton of apps or channels, movies, rent movies etc. The only problem is the system is slow, I guess you had to give up something in order to keep the price low. You must have Amazon prime in order to get the most out of it. I recommend it for the price and if you have Prime.

Purchased several for use with new TVS to make them into a "smart" TV. All the Firesticks were also programmed with the Kodi app and work great.

Great idea for those TVs that are mounted on the wall and don't want wires to be seen. Great apps and the remote does not need to be in line of sight.

I had no idea I couldl buy this and make my new tv a "smart tv" but luckily the young lady told me about this Amazon fire stick and we love it. It is so easy to install and now we can watch our NETFLIX in our bedroom.

I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. Setup was extremely fast and easy. We've been occupied with the Amazon Instant Video and Netflix content. However, there are tons of other apps to explore. I have a dual band router with high-speed (cable) internet. The Fire TV Stick was able to connect to the 5GHz channel without any issues. Streaming has been completely flawless.

I have most streamers - Rokus, the Apple TV, the Amazon Fire TV and the Fire TV stick, and even Raspberry Pis with Raspbmc. The Fire TV and Fire TV Stick win for me because they have the usual channels we care about - Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Instant Video, YouTube - and because they're Android based you can easily load XBMC (or Kodi, as it's become) and add the local streaming that I also need. The Fire TV and Fire TV stick have won the battle for me.

Bought this for my daughters TV and it works great! Took about 2 minutes to set up. It is very easy to use! My daughter is 6 and uses it with no help.

This unit runs very smooth and with a Prime membership you have access to thousands of movies and TV shows. We have one on every TV in our home.
