Trying to do simple things like scrolling to an action on a list the cursor doesn't always stop to the next option on a list but continues to move on its own. It will leap to its own destination. I'm starting to feel l made a mistake on this purchase.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing constant glitches with the cursor moving on its own and leaping to unintended destinations, especially after initially giving the device a positive rating. Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help resolve these navigation issues: ensure your Fire TV Stick has a strong internet connection as connectivity problems can cause performance issues, restart the device by unplugging it from power for 30 seconds then plugging it back in, check that the remote batteries are fresh and properly installed, ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the Fire TV Stick, try unpairing and re-pairing the remote by holding the Home button for 10 seconds, check for software updates in Settings > My Fire TV > About > Check for Updates, and if the issue persists, try resetting the remote by holding the Back button and right side of the navigation circle together for 10 seconds. Every month I save twice what I paid to purchase the stick. My younger niece quickly helped me install it and went through quick instructions and I am enjoying programing and lots of savings

The best thing about this is that its bluetooth, so i can use my phone as a remote AND I can connect any headphones. I did not have to buy special tv headphones and can use the bluetooth ones I already have.
