Bad Picture Quality

My old firestick I got back in 2019 has way better quality than this. I had bought it to replace my old one since my old remote control just decided it was gonna stop working. I ended up sticking to the old firestick and just programmed the new remote to work with my old firestick.

Not worth buying

I’ve bought two and they both quit working within 2-3 months of purchasing them. They work fine at first and then start glitching really bad; shows and screens will continuously freeze which shuts the Fire Stick down, it often won’t turn off all the way and the tv screen will be frozen on whatever was last played when you turn it on next. I will not be buying another one.

Loud Buttons on Remote

The hard plastic is super clicky and super annoying when you're scrolling through menus. I'm not talking about the artificial noise on the TV, but rather, the actual remote itself.

Junk. Freezes & stops working after three months.

I have only had it since August of this year and it is so slow and it freezes a lot. I have to unplug it and remove power. I wait and few minutes and then plug it all back in and it works fine for a day and then starts slowing down until it freezes again. Complete junk.

Navigating the applications is tedious due to its slow response to the remote. This is my first and last firestick. Can’t wait to get my Apple TV back from storage.

I had my Xfinity service technician to set it up and he found the same problem. I've set up several firesticks without any problems but I purchased them from Amazon. This is my first bad experience with a firestick.

I am sorry to hear your Fire TV Stick remote was not working. Here are a few things to try to get it to work: start by unplugging and restarting both the Fire TV device and the remote. After powering them back on, press and hold the Home button until the LED light flashes (on third-gen remotes, it should blink blue rapidly). If that doesn't work, reset the remote by holding the Left, Menu, and Back buttons together for 12 seconds. Then remove the batteries, plug the Fire TV back in, and reinsert the batteries. Alternatively, use the Fire TV app as a remote to navigate to settings and manually pair your remote.
