I've owned one in the past & really started missing having it, so I decided to become an owner again. Absolutely no regrets - these are so convenient to have. Recommend to anyone, especially families!

Amazon fire stick came on to my rescue, it added a newness to my old TV, able to install apps and has a voice control remote. I wish, they also add a mechanism to control volume. :)

Posted .Hello IrmaG! Thank you for the feedback on the Fire TV Stick Lite. The Fire TV Stick Lite is our entry level Fire TV Stick that comes with the Alexa voice remote lite which has no TV controls. There are other options that come with the Alexa voice remote that have TV controls. They are: Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K Max and the Fire TV Cube. I figure that I don't need a smart TV when I can use my fire stick to create streaming. Obviously I need to have internet but having a fire stick allows me the freedom of choice as I can have just as many channels for less.

Loved it so much that I bought another one for my bedroom TV. Since not every smart TV has all of the streaming apps that I use, I found that the Fire TV fills that void.

Fast, responsive and lots of channels and apps available. I use it with my HDHomeRun device to deliver live TV and cable all over the house without any additional DVR or devices priced at $10 a month from the cable company. All in 4k
