    I purchased this FireTv Stick a few weeks ago, but didn't decide to actually open it until a few days ago. It was easy to install, but the problem came that night when I turned my TV on to watch my show. The TV came on but the firestick didn't. Normally, when the TV is turned on it loads right up, but not this time. I didn't think too much of it. So I just unplugged and restarted the TV and it came on as it should. The next day, it did the same thing. So basically, I was having to unplug the Firestick every time before using. Tried to return it, but of course it was past the return policy.

    Good to use on old tv that does not have apps on it. Cheaper than buying a new tv for kids room.

    Set up is not straight forward (requiring to scan or create account). For what it's worth the apps there do the job of streaming fine. There should be a power button to turn off the device.
