Sorry to hear you are not having a positive experience with your Fire TV Stick Lite. You can find the content that is "free" with your Fire TV Stick Lite by going to the top right of the screen and clicking the "Free" tab, or Asking Alexa by pressing the blue button on the remote and saying "free content." Other Apps like Netflix and Hulu are subscription based streaming services and do require a subscription that is additional. Other Fees may apply depending on what streaming apps you want to utilize. Definitely spend the extra $ to get a newer version.

Posted .Hello Ilovemush365! This model device is still current and is on store shelves as we speak. Though our newer models do have faster processors and some additional features, you should still be getting a better experience from your device especially if it is only a couple of years old. You can see if you need an update to it by navigating to Settings>My Fire TV> About>Check for Updates. You can also do a factory reset to it from that same menu to see if setting it up as a new Fire Stick helps your experience. I hope these tips help and that you have a fantastic day!

I bought this one as a replacement for a previous fire stick that continued to lose connection with my home wifi. It had to be reset once a week. If this one ends up having the same issue, I am going to breakdown and buy Apple TV.

I have purchased them before and they lasted for a good long period, but this one died less then 90 days after I bought it and Best Buy said it wasn't covered by a warranty so it went into their electronic recycle.
