Amazon Fire stick and remote Lite version

The people in the store had no idea what was needed to connect and or operate it and if our son wasn’t a mechanical engineer we probably would’ve returned it and it is connected but still not doing what we were lead to believe that it would do. Very disappointed

The unit it too thin and light and slips around in your hand. The round disk where you have to depress rolls your fingers off of it. The Roku fits better and is not as authoritarian as Amazon's desire to push you into what THEY want you to watch,

Posted .Hi NathanE, I am very sorry about your experience with the Fire TV Stick Lite so far. If you have not already, please check for the following troubleshooting steps :
Remove the Fire TV Stick from the HDMI port & remove power cord. Wait a few seconds, then connect the power cord to the Fire TV Stick & plug it into the HDMI port on the TV.
Please try another HDMI port in the back or side of your TV.
Use the power cord or adapter included with your device to plug the Fire TV device. This ensures Fire TV has access to enough power.
Make sure you have the Fire TV device plugged into a wall outlet or power strip.
Try a different TV, if possible.
Let the device rest for 25-30 minutes and then try again. If these steps do not help and you are still experiencing issues, you can reach out to Amazon Customer Support 24/7 at 1-888-280-4331. We appreciate your feedback and hope these steps are helpful.

The assistance offered required a cell phone, another I pad to enter info , I needed Apple ID. Amazon I’d and had to download Desk so an agent who said he was helping me had access to my Computor and I phone. 2 hours of time and not installed

For the activation ask for Amazon accounts and credit card I don't like to put that information and I don't think is necessary. We by and other easy to activate.

It won’t show the channels I want to watch. I’m very disappointed with this product. And downloads are limited. Very poor product.
