Not up to a Roku

It's harder to find what I'm looking for, and Amazon keeps trying to push me toward Amazon shows while hiding other channels. The "fast forward" and "rewind" options are also much more limited (I have to click over and over and over to move ahead by five minutes, for instance). It works fine, but there's a reason it's cheaper than Roku.

Fire Stick, No TV control.

I didn’t know it didn’t have TV controls until I got it all set up. I would have bought the TV control Fire Stick had the box been clearly marked. I also had someone helping me and this was not explained. I really wanted one control that worked with the TV.

Adequate for streaming

For what it's worth the apps there do the job of streaming fine. There should be a power button to turn off the device.

I was so happy to set it up and finally use it. I had migrated all my accounts to the fire stick. And every time I'm watching up to 10 minutes of a show from any application it either kicks me off or it says the connection is poor. I really want to love this, but this situation isn't something you can easily overlook.
