I was using a Chromecast to cast netflix and other streams through my phone. This unit makes the process so much easier!

Didnt realize how good firestick is till i bought it. Kibd of hard to find apps but once you get used to it, its great.

I have purchased several fire sticks for around the house and this has helped me to cut the cord as I can watch Netflix and Prime movies and series without having to pay directtv $100/month for basic cable. I plan to get HD antenna for my local channels and hope to continue to not need cable. Can't go wrong with a firestick!!!

I purchased the fire stick to see how it would work and it is better than what I have so I will be dropping what I have

Works great. Love being able to use my samsung tv remote to control it. Easy set up and easy to change to any other tv.

We have amazon fire sticks for all of our TVs and will never go back to comcast! Definitely get the remotes with Alexa!

I loved the gen1 FireStick (still using it on a different TV) - but this new one is even better. Faster, for sure - and having Alexa is great. Even though I'm keeping cable, this allows me access to lots of 'live' and 'ondemand' channels on other TVs without paying provider for an add'l Digital TV adapter. Worth the $!

The Fire Stick turned out to be perfect for my setup. I travel a lot, using random wifi in hotels and RV parks. I initially tried going with just a smart tv, but they don't allow the ability to connect to some wifi that requires a secondary authentication in a pop up window. I also use the Roku in my home, and don't believe that the Roku allows you to do this either. The Fire Stick worked out perfectly, and gives me navigation window to connect to these kind of wifi connections.

Such a great idea for those that don’t own a smart tv nor have cable. Best streaming device on the market in my opinion

I bought the amazon fire for my 15 year old son. I wasn’t sure how well it would work, but we set it up in a tv we have had for a few years and it is amazing. The set up was very easy and only took a few minutes. It is amazing how this little device transformed his tv into an awesome streaming device!
