Got this really cheap. Same as similar Apple product but not as nice platform. Easy to add things like Kodi though.

Bought this on Black Friday and I have used it every day since then. I highly suggest Fire Stick over other brands.

Installed this on an older TV that was not a "smart" TV. Installation was a snap and it functioned flawlessly. The Alexa feature is also a plus. Just ask "what will the weather be in XXX tomorrow, and the answer is received almost immediately. It is a solid performer for what is was designed for.

This is actually my second fire stick. I liked the first one and decided to put one in another room. It's nice & small & I'm able to travel with it so it also makes watching tv on the go simple & easy. This is coming from an all things Apple lover. No I'm not leaving Apple but there is room for the Fire Stick in the house.

This was purchased for my husband...He loves movies and it is small and easy to take anywhere. He packed it to take on vacation which worked well for him until we got home and he emptied his suitcase of laundry into the washing machine and forgot it was in there. Let's just say it didn't survive the washing machine!!!

This Streaming Stick is fantastic. Functionality, it is flawless; fast, easy, user friendly. It allows your basic netflix, hulu, hbo, youtube, etc. streaming as well as other options like 3rd party apps you can download. Excellent. If you are using a larger than 50" TV, I would suggest the firebox as an upgrade (4k support), but this is perfect for a 46" and lower TV with 1080p. I had this on my 60" 4k TV and it looked pretty good, but looked fantastic on my 40" 1080p Bedroom TV. I will be getting the firebox for my 4k TV.

The Fire TV Stick is comparable to the chromecast in it's general abilities, but far exceeds them in video service integrations. For example, streaming services are built right into the device, so anyone visiting can watch it like regular TV, unlike chromecast which requires your device (or a guests device/services) to stream to it. The downside is that it virtually requires the remote, so unfortunately we get back to the age-old problem of losing the remote. Now, for about 80% of the features Alexa (on Echo/Echo Dot) can control it, which alleviates that issue....unless you activate a pin code (to secure purchases or child-lock), in which case you're back to square one. Overall though, I'm quite please with this purchase, well worth it, especially on deal!
