This is the best streaming devices that I have purchased and I also own a roku box. The Amazon fire stick is very fast and has a ton of apps. I also love the voice command feature. Alexia is always able to understand what I'm saying and what I'm looking for.

I have Roku, AppleTV, and now Firestick. Between the 3 it seems to be the fastest as well as the most intuitive input. The voice search helps and is great. My only issue is Netflix may stream a movie and amazon has it as a rental. They go to the rental first which I understand. All in it's a great option for people who want to stream the various services. Screen sharing is lacking and Apple TV seems to be best for that.

This package includes a remote, a usb charging cable, wall adapter, hdmi extension, & the fire stick itself. The setup is easy, & the controller feels comfortable. The menu moves smoothly without studder. There are tons of apps & streaming services available to download. Wifi is the only method to connect online with this. I have perfect wifi connection, I'm using a verizon fios wifi modem/router. Its clutter free, once plugged in & setup i completely forget theres anything there behind the tv. The only negative i can think of is that each firestick requires an amazon account to be registered to it, which can cause accidental app purchases, but there is a pin confirmation feature to stop that. Obviously streaming services require a paid subscription, but there are free ones too such as youtube, crackle, & 3rd party. I've used this with Netflix, youtube, Vue, & hulu.

I have 3 fire sticks. Got this for my sister, works great and easy to set up. She has a really old flat screen she refuses to replace because of how large it is. This was a great way to turn an older model into a smart tv. Highly recommend.

The fire stick is easy to install and use. The only negative so far, is that you have to purchase numerous memberships if you want full access to all the movies or shows.
