Love it!

It has the Kodi app, which is awesome. The only downside is it's the hottest Christmas item of the year and I can't buy another one as a gift.

Fire Stivk Toasts Cable

With the new Hulu Live, I could pay less and get the channels I actually do watch. The Amazon Fire Stick is fully compatible with the new Hulu Live. Streaming made even more enjoyable!!!! And I'm not tied down to a 1 tv cable box dilemma. It is just what I was looking for!!!!

Not sure I understand it

However, I am a basic user and do not see the advantages of this item vs. the apps that are already loaded on my smart tv, or 4k blue-ray player or PS3. This may just be me not knowing what i don't know. It did perform quicker in loading apps than my current systems. I just do not have the use for it myself. Perhaps if I had given it more study, I may have learned more benefits.

Firestick got better!

The Firestick has a simple tutorial video built in and the amazon home screen looks different. The setting options are now, at the top .

Best purchase this season!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this figuring $25 on black friday wouldn't be too much of an investment in case I didn't like the fire stick, and I am SO GLAD I did!! I had an HDTV with no cable box and had just been connecting my laptop to it with an HDMI cord to watch Netflix, but now I can relax across the room and still have Netflix or HBO playing on the TV without keeping my laptop attached to the TV by a cord. The set-up was super simple and everything worked perfectly right away. There's NO reason to pay for cable when you have an HDTV and an Amazon Fire Stick. It's basically a $25 at home theater, and with Alexa capabilities you can even check the weather in the morning. It's perfect, and makes my life so much easier!
