Easy to use and simple to set up love my firestick

Earlier this month, my TV entertainment included Dish 200+ channel satellite TV, 20Mbps turbo internet, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. After doing some research, I bought 3 Amazon Fire Sticks with the voice remote, cancelled Dish, upgraded to 30Mbps internet, added Sling 25 channels, added standard Hulu, and CBS All Access. Guess who still gets 96+% of the channels watched, added Prime Music and several hundred shows (that networks don't play) to all the TVs in the house, and saved over $700 per year compared to what I paid this past year? I did. I never thought of "cutting the cord" until I really looked into it all. Getting Amazon Fire Sticks are worth it and they work well....and once you get used to knowing what show plays where, it's a no-brainer. Just like how you originally had to figure out how to use a smart phone back in the day. After a while, it's a breeze. I highly recommend everything I listed in this review. Seriously....take a couple hours and make a spread-sheet listing the must-have shows that people in your household watch. Then make a comparison to what's available on the streaming services. If you're like me, and you don't watch 80% of the channels you pay for, it's so worth it.

You’ve probably heard more before. It’s quick to setup. It responds to voice commands easily. It’s probably my favorite streaming device in my home since it works with all my Alexa devices.

I bought the fire stick because I had an Amazon subscription for tv and my tv isn't internet accessible. I was looking for something inexpensive and that worked well which this meets both of those criterias.

Great device to turn a regular tv into a smart one

Why was i the last to know about this fantastic product? I am an older person and really had no idea that there were people out there that hate paying for expensive cable more than me. Well, these folks heard of the Firestick. No one told me! Better late than never. I love it! I can watch all of my programs without the large expensive bill. I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop like, how come everyone doesn't drop cable immediately and get the Fire stick. What's the catch? So far there is not one. It's a wonderful product and I am so happy to have it. Now with all of the money I am saving from my cable bill I can get another TV for my guest room. Yea! Of course, I will then get another Fire stick. No worries, I can afford it.

This is great if you want to get rid of your overpriced cable service and make the switch to internet TV. Perfect for what it's for. The only slight drawback is sometimes it has a slight lag to it when switching apps but it's only very minor. I believe the newer versions that came out recently solve that problem too.

I purchased this because my google chromecast was starting to malfunction after owning it for only a month and I needed an alternative option. I was pleasantly surprised! I feel like there is so much capability and usability in such a small item. I also really appreciate that unlike Apple, amazon doesn’t limit the amount of things that you can use the stick for. I love how they have the single sign-on option for apps that you are connecting your cable provider account. It saves so much time when you just want to hop on and start watching without all the hassle. I have suggested this product to numerous friends and will continue to do so.
