I purchased this item for my granddaughter she will not get it till Christmas. But I purchased one for myself and is really great. I know my granddaughter will love her present. She can’t stay away from my fire stick. Gift that keeps on giving for real.

I've been using the Firestick and firetv box since the first gen versions. I still use my first gen Firetv's, about 2 years now, and I have the newest version of the Firestick for travel. It's very quick to execute commands, no lag, connectivity to wifi is simple, even to hotel wifi. Amazon prime is great. $99/year, free 1-2 day shipping, all kinds of tv shows, movies, music, books, games at your fingertips. Thursday night football included now too. Pair it up with your Amazon echo device and you don't even need the remote to play movies. Can't say enough good things about it.

I have antenna and I'm not paying $100 a month to a cable company & buying a smart TV is not an option.. If you are in the same situation you would love this fire stick! In my case I have HULU and Netflix so now I can watch it on my TV, other apps like pandora/youtube and even browsing the web work perfectly. There is also many apps that you can download for FREE! Also the fire stick would need batteries in which they are included, I'm on my 7th month and I haven't yet replace the batteries. Now, the only reason why its not a 5 star its because the "Amazon USB" has to also be plug in to the wall in which it would be nice if it somehow can get its power source from the TV already, and I believe it should have some kind of option button that I can switch so apps/movies that cost money are not included in my list preview which saves me from having to be disappointed. Otherwise its a great gadget and its easy to use

This product is easy to use, easy to set up! Finding movies and TV shows is much easier with the voice remote. Provides hours of free streaming and entertainment.

I am in the process of moving away from satellite service so did a lot of research on what the most effect way to do so would be. I have some friends that have the Fire Stick and have had good success with it. I purchased this to try out before cutting off my satellite service and everything seems to be working fine. I have connected it to the Amazon dot I have in the area and the voice control works really well. I really like how when you are searching for something it will show all items available from multiple services, Prime, Netflix and others. I don’t know if there is a way to filter it so “pay per view” items do not show up? The only issue is that I can’t figure out the voice commands to play a specific episode of a show from a specific season, I am still learning as I have only had the product for a few days. Overall it was a seamless setup and works with the other items I have in the home that are controlled by Amazon.

Its ok you can see alot more if you jailbreak it. And you can learn how to do it if youtube.

Love the Fire Stick. Easy to install and use. Great option and so glad to get rid of cable and all the cords and costs. Love this live streaming option.

The fire stick is one of the best purchases I've ever made for $40. If you don't have a smart TV or if you just want more accessibility to access TV apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video/Music or if you want to access Games, etc., this is the way to go for you. Unfortunately, they are back ordered so getting them will probably take a few weeks, but definitely worth the money and wait. And yes, it works with Kodi (in case you were wondering). For that and other apps that aren't available on the amazon store, you can sideload any .apk apps using freeware like ES Explorer file manager.

Works as advertised and easy to use. Lots of good conetent. Bought another for another room.

I love my firesticks! I have them on my Smart TV's and even when having connectivity issues with the Smart apps, the firestick apps work seamlessly. The wireless connection seems to be more stable then built in wireless connectivity of my Samsung TV's.

Log on for secure Wifi is a bit confusing but once you are logged in it is very easy to use.

This is very simple to use. Works great and was watching TV within just a couple of minutes.

The newest Fire Stick is much faster and more "smooth" than the previous versions. Works perfectly to turn any "dumb" tv with an hdmi port into a smart television.

Clear instructions, easy and fast installation, lots of choices and being able to tell Alexa to pull up the programming you want is an added bonus
