The Fire TV Stick is one of the best streaming services on the market. I looked at Chromecast and Roku and, after reading all of the reviews, I ended up with the Fire TV Stick. I'm glad I did. It works seamlessly with all of the streaming services - Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc. - but also allows you to download apps to extend your media capabilities. My only gripe with it is the experience for Amazon Prime media. It's honestly a terrible browsing experience. It's not really a go-to for media for me personally so it's not a huge problem, but if that is your primary media outlet, could be frustrating. Which is ironic because it's the Amazon Fire TV so you would imagine they would put a little effort into it. All in all, worth it for the price and great for cable cutting!

Easy to hook up and with Alexia it's a breeze to find what you're looking for. I haven't found a negative thing to say about it.

Fairly easy set up. Picture quality improved by 75% over what we had been watching on tis particular TV set. Many programs to watch are possibly older or at least re-broadcasts. Can't find live TV. Perhaps I'm not using it properly.

My husband and I purchased this item in attempt to eliminate our cable. We really lov it, we cancelled our cable subscription, and even ordered a second one for our TV in our bedroom. We have already recommended it to a couple family members.

I am using this firestick with my directvnow and it works great. The controls are easy to use and setup was easy.

We purchased the fire stick so as to be able to stream movies via the Watch TCM (Turner Classic Movies) app. Previously we had been hooking a laptop up to the TV to stream films directly from their website. As long as one's internet connection speed is strong enough, streaming works seamlessly with the fire stick. It is similar to a Roku box, which we also have and both work equally well for Netflix, but we needed a device that would enable the use of the TCM app.

Finally able to cut the cord with cable. Works great. Clear picture, top apps and shows. I have one on every TV.

Finally gave the Firestick a chance after buying a Roku and having a smart tv and pretty much every other streaming device. Got the stick on a daily deal with a free case and was streaming in under 15 minutes! The best feature is the Alexa voice control. I am now able to tell Alexa to start my kids show in 2 steps where it used to take a few minutes and several button presses. It is also very snappy but does get hung up on an app every now and then! Cut the cord and get one of these!

Loved the price to covert older flat screen to a smart tv with access to all my add one such as hulu and Netflix. A must buy!
