In this modern era of viewing TV and shows / movies, streaming is the new thing and the firestick delivers. I bought them when they were on sale for my son and daughter (who are at college). No complaints.

I purchased the Fire Stick to be able to stream movies and television shows since I opted to disconnect my cable. It allows me to access my Netflix and Hulu accounts with ease. Additionally, I have access to Amazon movies as well as HBO and Starz. Since I have high-speed internet service, everything comes in quickly and easily. The Fire Stick also allows me to access video games if I’d like. It’s a platform for all of my streaming needs and well worth the price.

The problem with this thing is that it chokes sometimes depending on what you’re watching. On Amazon’s content it works great but any other provider (Netflix, Hulu, Direct tv) you get the circle of death unexpectedly. Lots of content from everywhere but lagging could be a problem.

I had been wanting to try out a Fire Stick for a long time, and when I was finally able to get one, I was impressed by how well it performs. I don't notice much difference between it and my Roku 2 that I no longer use. I think one of the best comparisons was when I used the free 30 day trial of Sling. I had previously used Sling on my Roku 2, but it would always freeze up and black out. I have had none of those problems with Sling TV on the Fire Stick. Great little device worth the price.
