I had been wanting to try out a Fire Stick for a long time, and when I was finally able to get one, I was impressed by how well it performs. I don't notice much difference between it and my Roku 2 that I no longer use. I think one of the best comparisons was when I used the free 30 day trial of Sling. I had previously used Sling on my Roku 2, but it would always freeze up and black out. I have had none of those problems with Sling TV on the Fire Stick. Great little device worth the price.

The cable providers,satellite providers & all the rest of the high priced vampires better protect what market share they have left. For the small cost you get huge viewing options.All you need is a good WiFi connection- Their are thousands of FREE TV shows, movies, You Tube videos and music yes streaming everything including the kitchen sink. Buy today from Best Buy I did and my wifes happy. Enough said. :)

This small sticks are great f ok e the price and they do what it was intended for. They're simple to install and I think they're a little better than google stick as you don't need a mobile device to control it.

I bought this specifically to be able to access my Plex server on a TV without built in applications. For that, it works fairly well. The overall interface is a little "clunky", but that sort of goes away as you get used to it. I like the fact that the remote is not infrared and the device is basically completely out of sight behind the TV. I don't like the fact that the device is essentially always on. Integration with Amazon's Echo devices is NOT seamless and being able to control the device with general controls like "PAUSE" only works reliably using the native Amazon services (it should work with ALL services). I often find that the Echo device can't communicate at all with the Firestick. I got the device on a Black Friday sale, and it's worth the comparatively low price I paid for it Since I'm a Prime member and I have Echo devices, I get some extra functionality out of it. If you AREN'T a Prime member, you may not get the full benefits from it.
