This is my second fire stick, DirecTV Now sent me my first one for free. I absolutely love our fire stick. I have not had a single issue for the past year with my fire stick. Alexa is super accurate and responsive to our voice. The quality and speed of this device solely depends on your internet speed so make sure you have a quality connection and router before purchasing this device. Especially if you plan on streaming live TV.

I usually do not write reviews but I did one for this product because of what it can do. This is my first experience using these types of devices. Before owing this device, I was just buying and renting movies and not watching local TV programs since my budget does not permit me to have cable TV. I always read other people's reviews before buying a product and in this case I read some Amazon and Best Buy reviews. I happened to have been on a free trial of Amazon Prime and I wanted a device where I could see movies, TV programs, etc. on my TV in the living room rather than just on my desktop computer in my bedroom. I figured that if I did not like it, I could just return it and also cancel my free trial of Prime within the 30 days. Well here it goes: First the setup, I thought it would be difficult to setup this device, but it took me less than 10 minutes to do so (just make sure you have your password handy). Second it's use, I basically use it for watching movies, listening to music, TV shows, YouTube (which by the way I was having difficulty watching on my desktop), etc. Third the speed, I have basic internet service so I thought the movies would drag or take time to load but that has not happened so far. This newer device, according to what I read on the Amazon website, has a faster processor than it's predecessor. And finally the end results, I decided to keep on using Amazon Prime and just pay less than $11 dollars a month for that service and here I have plenty of things to watch or listen to because of the technology of this device. There are obviously other applications, other than those which Amazon offers, which you can use on this device. OH and I almost forgot! Ask Alexa about searching something for you and there is no need for you to type it! I definitely recommend this product.

Firestick is easy to setup and use. Makes my older TV a smart TV. Can load apps onto fire stick

It's just so wonderful to be around you this technology. I pick up the remote control, and speak what I want to watch, and then there it is. And it operates even with Youtube and Searching what you seek will never be the same. A few small caveats like some channels require nominal subscription but if you become an Amazon Prime member, life just got better and cheaper for you. I love this and have one on every tv In my house.

I bought a FireTV stick for the fact you can actually download stuff to it and carry it with you on trips. You simply plug it into the hotel TV connect to the wifi and your good to go. Would recommend to anyone who travels as well as someone who doesn't own a smart TV. One complaint would be power cord length is super short.
