My son had this on his Christmas wish list for college. I looked at reviews and asked an employee who has one. It became apparent that this was a 'no-brainer'. Went to the local BB and even asked a Product Specialist. He has one too. That's all i needed. I bought two. One for my son and one for my wife and I. Been using it a week or so. We love it. I use the smartphone app to type when typing is needed. Much faster that using the remote clicker.

I wish I could have given this 4.5 stars as there is one thing I'm not happy about, but overall it's a good controller. The one thing I don't like is that there is not a volume control on the stick, like there is on the Roku. You have to use the TV remote to turn the volume up, down, or mute. The setup is super easy, which is great as the older I get, the less I understand technology terminology. Anyone who can read, will be able to set this up.

The Fire stick is a good item to watch tv and movies

I absolutely love my Amazon Fire TV Stick, especially having Alexa voice control. It is so easy to set up and use. I have DirectTV Now and it works really well with my Fire Stick. I had a Roku stick but returned it because it wasn't nearly as user friendly as the Fire Stick. I also enjoy having access to Amazon movies and shows, which is a bonus. Overall, it has been great and as a result I am cancelling my satellite subscription to stick with streaming.

Fire Stick is so easy to set up and allows you to load lots of apps to view so many great shows.

we use them with the sideclick to control all our tv's and stream everything through the fire stick.

If you want something unexpensive and small to stream your content, then the Fire Stick is a great way to do this. Other best alternative is the Chromecast, but you need an additional tablet or phone.

ERGONOMIC, INTUITIVE CONTROLS, EASE OF USE ARE STRENGTHS. I ESPECIALLY ENJOY THE GREAT FUNCTIONALITY AND SPEED.

We are very pleased with this item. When we can't find something interesting to us to watch on cable, we switch to the Firestick and can always find something. It was super easy to set up.
