I purchased Chromecasts the year they came out and while they served their purpose for two years they are just not very upgradable. I recently bought the Fire Stick and Fire TV Box made by Amazon. I am also a Netflix and Amazon Prime member. Both of these devices are FAR Superior to the options provided by the older Chromecasts AND even the new 4K models. Easy to use and upgradable with many apps and games, and if you have Amazon Prime it is a no-brainer purchase.

Placed this on a tv without “smart” features, and can now stream whatever I want. No lag or glitchiness.

Great value for what you pay. Also great if you have kids because of ease of use and games that can be played.

I have really been impressed with the newest Amazon Firestick. It is much faster than the first version. Alexa is a great addition. Overall, this is a excellent addition to your home entertainment system.

I have had a Fire TV stick for a while but used it in conjunction with a Smart TV. We have a couple of older TVs that had a HDMI input but I didn't realize that it doesn't take a Smart TV to use one of these is you have that input. So WOW. I'm very pleased with how well this works for watching movies and other content with my Amazon Prime membership but that I can watch tons of other programming by downloading free apps.

Totally worth what I spent! I had the google chrome cast first. I did like it but disliked I had to use my phone to change whatever I was watching. So I took my chances with the amazon fire stick! I don't regret it I love this little thing! Easy set up and if you have amazon prime even better you can access all your content there. And comes with a controller and Alexa lol now my kids won't bug me to change a show or movie they can do it for themselves!

The Amazon Fire Stick works as intended. It practically set itself up and found the wifi signal without any effort on my part. It also connects and streams without issue even with my "donkey" slow internet speed.

I have a 8 year old samsung flat screen. It seems to make the picture sharper. So easy to use and install.

This is amazing with a nice price. There are a lot of apps and programs with it. Very easy to use.

The fire stick is very good. Very responsive easy to navigate lots of things to choose from.not a big streaming fan but this device is worth it not very expensive . Long live physical media

I’m still learning about this but it is just amazing how much programming is “out there” that I wasn’t even aware of. So much of it is free. This old lady feels like a kid with a new toy!

I got this one as a spare since the Black Friday sale had them real cheap. I prefer to keep them stock and install the apps I actually use. You can also sideload using your Android phone.
