We are very pleased with this item. When we can't find something interesting to us to watch on cable, we switch to the Firestick and can always find something. It was super easy to set up.

I have had a Fire TV stick for a while but used it in conjunction with a Smart TV. We have a couple of older TVs that had a HDMI input but I didn't realize that it doesn't take a Smart TV to use one of these is you have that input. So WOW. I'm very pleased with how well this works for watching movies and other content with my Amazon Prime membership but that I can watch tons of other programming by downloading free apps.

The fire stick is very good. Very responsive easy to navigate lots of things to choose from.not a big streaming fan but this device is worth it not very expensive . Long live physical media

fire stick has great apps and also you can install custom apps easy.

I purchased Chromecasts the year they came out and while they served their purpose for two years they are just not very upgradable. I recently bought the Fire Stick and Fire TV Box made by Amazon. I am also a Netflix and Amazon Prime member. Both of these devices are FAR Superior to the options provided by the older Chromecasts AND even the new 4K models. Easy to use and upgradable with many apps and games, and if you have Amazon Prime it is a no-brainer purchase.

This firestick has worked fine and still works fine. However the main issues are the sluggish performance and crappy remote. For whatever reason the batteries on the remote just dont seem to last longer than a month or two at best. The stick itself has crappy performance at times and even though you can restart the stick it still doesnt restore the performance. If I were to pick a stick it would be the firestick 4k. That one has awesome performance and remote is great too with power button and volume controls.

wide choice of apps made me a cable cutter. ease of using alexa voice remote a real bonus.

Totally worth what I spent! I had the google chrome cast first. I did like it but disliked I had to use my phone to change whatever I was watching. So I took my chances with the amazon fire stick! I don't regret it I love this little thing! Easy set up and if you have amazon prime even better you can access all your content there. And comes with a controller and Alexa lol now my kids won't bug me to change a show or movie they can do it for themselves!
