This firestick has worked fine and still works fine. However the main issues are the sluggish performance and crappy remote. For whatever reason the batteries on the remote just dont seem to last longer than a month or two at best. The stick itself has crappy performance at times and even though you can restart the stick it still doesnt restore the performance. If I were to pick a stick it would be the firestick 4k. That one has awesome performance and remote is great too with power button and volume controls.

So easy to hook up and control, love the Alexa feature which lets you find your programs right away.

Very easy to set up and use. I lie that all the most used apps are already laded and that you can add kodi.

Set up was easy. Found my home wi-fi without a hitch. So far streaming has been smooth. Love it!

I own both the new Fire and Roku stick (3600R), below is a short review and honest (personal) opinion on both products. User Interface: the Fire stick has essentially the same UI as Fire TV (which I also own), it is largely divided by content category (Home, Video, TV, Movie, Music, Games, Photo, Apps, etc.), and integrated seamlessly with Prime eco-system. If you are already a Prime member, you will have better experience with Fire stick than Roku. Roku’s UI has the advantage of integrating more contents (Google Store, My Feed, News, etc.). Roku also allows user to make certain changes in Home screen (add/remove/move tiles), unlike Fire stick. However, both UIs are well designed, smooth. It comes down to personal preference. Hardware/Streaming Quality: as far as I can tell, there isn’t much difference, both are powerful devices, almost no lags with either device. One of the attached pictures is a screenshot of streaming YouTube 4K content from Fire stick, the picture quality is stunning (output as 1080p). Remote: I personally like the Fire remote, it is simple (only 7 buttons with a navigation ring), but provides all the functions you will need. I find it is both slimmer and easier to use than the Roku remote. In addition, Fire remote has a voice function, which you won’t find on Roku, this is a big plus. Also note that the Fire stick remote will work with Fire TV but you will have to "unpair" it first (please see the comment made by RoadDog on this review). Voice Search/Alexa: Amazon has greatly improved the search function. One of the main complains of earlier versions of Fire TV/Stick is that Alexa only search Amazon contents, but not 3rd parties’ (Netflix, etc.).

Extremely easy to set up, very user friendly. I finally bought the Amazon Fire TV Stick because I planned on going to Sling TV. I ended up keeping my DirecTv but I was so impressed by the Amazon Fire TV stick that I kept it and use it all the time. I used to always go through my PS4 and now I never do because it’s easier to use the Fire Stick. Probably the best overall device to use for all of your favorite streaming services.

Nothing much more than access for a non smart TV. The stick is easy to install and doesn't pertrude. The set up is somewhat ok to do with the pro ided remote. A mini keyboard is a better option .

Its easy to connect and start-up. I enjoy searching for a movie by speaking to the remote control.

I love the amazon firestick so much that I now own 4 of them. The capabilities of the firestick has allowed me to totally cut ties with all cable/satellite providers. THANKS AMAZON!!!!

This product is great for all types of things. You can watch great movies, TV shows, documentaries, and much more all through your TV, with out having to own a game system or pay for premium channels through your cable provider. I have a one year old and I love that they have so many shows for kids to watch all in one place. Not to mention all the great music you can listen to also. I just love the fire stick and so happy that I bought it!

I love the fire stick! it's versatile and I am an Amazon prime member which makes it even better because we get prime TV I also have anime strike which I hesitated about paying for but I love it .The only thing I don't like I guess is the remote the voice Alexa thing works great But sometimes it does mess up what I say And I'd like the option of Being able to use a usb remote You can't use a Bluetooth one however guess I'll have to buy one .

I purchased this as a recommendation from a friend. I now have 3. Made the pain of getting rid of Cable a whole lot easier. Add Ons are amazing, Highly recommend to anyone with Wi-Fi
