Great for movie lovers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve purchased 3 of these Amazon Firesticks with Alex Voice Comand at Christmas time. 1 for my 9yr old daughter,an she loves it. An the other 2 for two other bedrooms. An we all love them an would not go back to cable or satellite again. I sure wish I would have known about these AMAZON FIRESTICKS sooner cause I’ve could have saved myself a lot of money instead of giving it to cable & satellite companies.

The only thing I didn't like was when it updated on its own and changed the layout of the home screen. It's a nice layout, don't get me wrong! It just took a little getting used to. It's very easy to use, so even my mother didn't have much trouble with navigating through it after a quick tutorial. But over all, I love it, and so does everyone I've gifted them to as well.

I bought this 1920x1080p Amazon FireTV Stick on sale for $19.99 for an old Samsung 1080p tv without SmartTV capability. The App Store has all of the apps for my streaming subscriptions ie. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Vudu, FandangoNow, etc. Easy to put it in developers mode. Was able to download and install a commonly used paid VPN.

Inexpensive, fast, loaded with features

Some of the newer apps will not run on the 1st generation fire tv any more. This fire tv stick is faster than the original, has the Alexa remote and is considerably less expensive then the fire tv I bought when it was newly out. Since the wireless has been updated to the newer standards it streams much faster than the older devices. Deffinately worth the upgrade.

Fire TV, Free from Cable or Satelite

It was easy to install and fairly easy to use. Now have it talking to "Alexa: and the sound can be run through the Alexa. Bought this one for our BR to bring the same experience into the BR. Actually took it on Vaca to Cancun and it worked perfectly to have some TV while we were getting ready for the day or before dinner.
