I bought this fire stick as a second option to my cable plan on a TV that I hardly watch but it gets very hot. I was told that I should unplug it from the TV when it's not in use but that's not practical. I don't have that issue with the Amazon TV box.

Great way to access amazon programs, lot faster than the first model & the voice control is a nice touch

We bought the Fire TV Stick because we are tired of paying $100/month for TV/cable. Especially when we don't watch that much. We have 2 monthly subscriptions and then we have also downloaded extra free Apps (check out youtube videos on 'how to') onto the Fire Stick and are amazed at what all we can watch at no additional cost. We will be purchasing 2 more for our other 2 TV's and we will STILL be saving $90/month and not missing cable at all.

All you need internet service to access many channels movies You can set up things like Netflix Pandora Hulu. I like having these options and not be stuck in an expensive contract

The amount of available programs and movies is amazing. My wife and I used to turn off the tv early as there was nothing to watch. That has now changed as we have lots to watch.

Definitely worth the 40.00. This purchase was needed for myself and also for my son as I was using his Xbox One to stream Netflix and other apps on my bedroom TV. No need for sharing now. Also it was very simple and easy to set up. I did read reviews and a friend recommended that I buy the Amazon Fire Stick. I can honestly say that it offers much more than I had even imagined. Best of all with out any more buffering... I am delighted.

I love my firestick, I don't have cable so I rely on my firestick most of the time. I watch the newest movies and shows all the time. It's simple to use and Alexa is a life saver.

I liked The previous generation so much I bought three more and these blow that out of the water. The Alexa feature is fabulous! I had no idea that it would come in so handy. It works just like the other Alexa devices around my home. I can tell it to do this or that and it works with Amazon prime video… Awesome! Easy to use easy to set up and superduper helpful! At this point, who needs cable??? Better yet, why would anyone need cable anymore?

Nice upgrade over previous version. Replaced previous version that eventually started to freeze on occasion. It's notably faster and smoother. The voice operation is a plus but I don't use it.

U get alot of bang for your buck good speed you get to streami g for free with your Amazon prime account

Easy set up! Remote is extremely easy to use. Added Kodi, runs no problem. Clear cache so it doesn't lag.
