I use the fire stick in my room where I have no cable. It allows me to easily acces programs through various apps. I like the voice command function with the remote. Great value.

i initially bought the roku as that has a larger library but being region restricted that t=did not suite me. i come from over seas and was excited when i heard it has launched in my country and that it has a log in browser for hotels. i was sold. the device works great , the packaging and set up is a breeze. does focus primarily on Amazon shows though. the icing on the cake is that it gets localized with local offers where ever i am .

The one that I purchased is not the currently available 4K product. I bought this 1920x1080p Amazon FireTV Stick on sale for $19.99 for an old Samsung 1080p tv without SmartTV capability. The App Store has all of the apps for my streaming subscriptions ie. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Vudu, FandangoNow, etc. Easy to put it in developers mode. Was able to download and install a commonly used paid VPN.

Provides great streaming opportunities. Alexa development makes hand free controlling a desired option!

Nice upgrade over previous version. Replaced previous version that eventually started to freeze on occasion. It's notably faster and smoother. The voice operation is a plus but I don't use it.

Just plug into a HDMI port, and plug in the power adaptor and it works great! No extensive set ups required. This is smaller and more portable than the Fire tv, which is why I went with it. You need to have a streaming service membership to use (Netflix, Prime, etc). You can also mirror what's on your tv/iPad to watch on your tv. I lost the small Alexa remote the first day. But you can download a remote app for your phone, so all good.

I ordered this for myself and I ordered my mother one with the echo dot that can with it and we still received 15 days of free sling tv with it. I am so happy!!! Thanks Best Buy!

After reading the reviews I decided to purchase one. Came home and installed it. Loved it so much I had to purchase another one. Will be doing away with my high priced cable bill.

Works great I can now watch my amazon prime content and netflix all on one device. Works pretty smooth.

We were looking to eliminate high cable costs and the fire stick was a low cost and easy to use option! I am super happy we went with this product and cancelled our cable service.

I bought the fire stick to look at options such as sling TV and Netflix to replace my expensive cable TV. The fire stick works well but seems a little slower than my old Roku. The Alexa function is nice when using Amazon Prime TV and movies. I think it is a little more versatile than having a smart TV and it can be moved to different TVs. I am quite satisfied with the purchase and at the $30 I paid for it, it is a steal.

Functions just like the other 4 I own. SO row row row your boat gently down the bootleg stream. Im watching Justice League before its on DVD and still in theaters is not a dream
