This fire stick is the truth and the answer!!! The voice activation works well with no problems in their 6 mos that I've had it. I was also able to cut that cable bill.

This is my 5th firestick purchase I have one for every tv in the morning house and this one is for my parents. It’s great it allows me to cut back on cable tv cost.

I haven't felt the need to buy a smart tv because all my tvs still work perfectly so I chose to purchase a firestick. I love it so far! I have a Netflix membership so that's what I primarily use it for. I also have a prime membership and you can link that to it as well to access prime videos. It's been very easy to use. My only complaint is that the remote is so small and I feel like it can get lost fairly easily.

THE FIRE STICK WITH ALEXA IS JUST AWESOME. I LOVE IT. SINCE PURCHASING IT I HAVE NOT WATCHED ANY OF MY DISH CHANNELS AND I HAVE THEM ALL. I ALREADY HAD AMAZON PRIME AND NETFLEX WHICH I WATCH A LOT. Good streaming option - Fast and easy to setup. Another thing which is good compared to Roku is you get option to install own applications with available memory. Also works outside US

I was able to set up my firestick in no time. It took a little time to download the apps I wanted. However, I found a site on U-tube (Electrical M.D.) which helped me download many different apps for my device. Viola! Inexpensive (free) programming. I'll try all the free trials (Sling, Hulu, etc.) until I find one I can't live without and be set without the expense of Satelite or Cable.

This is just like the 1st gen. FireTV Stick, except faster, which is good. My main purpose of purchasing this device is to do mirroring (not only streaming) from iOS, MacOS, etc. devices. It works very well with the built-in functions, such as apps "AirPlay UPnP." And I also found that it can cast Windows 10 with its built-in function (press home button for couple second. That's nice, although I don't use Windows much.)

awesome. the remote kinda sucks and cannot stand up to a toddler throwing it around all day but what can. download the remote app on phone nad and youll be in business.

I haven't quite figured out the whole craze on the firestick - BUT I'm very happy with it so far. Alexa and I have more bonding to do though. We're not all there yet.

Beat streaming device works with or without cable subscription, all apps great for children this has minimum to no lag time like other devices(Roku ,Apple TV, chrome)

This is a new and exciting adventure for me! My first Fire Stick!!! The single best feature has to be the portability. Having a way to take movies, music and games is great. Navigation is easy and setup was absolutely no problem. Even though I had a few senior moments (yeah I'm a senior for real), I was able to get it figured out in no time and was enjoying my first movie within the hour. Since I spent 40 minutes of that hour scrolling through movie and music selections the actual setup time for me was around 15 minutes with 5 for unpacking and looking at the instructions. I've been so happy with the darn thing I haven't even tried the voice command feature yet. Satisfied Customer.

Purchased this online during Thanksgiving sale. So happy with my purchase. Was delivered fast and in perfect condition. We plan to get rid of cable as soon as we can!

It was the best investment that I could have made since cable became unaffordable. Very easy to install. I have spend hours relaxing while watching the many programs.

I cut cable about 3 years ago and I've tried several alternatives since then. The Amazon Fire Tv stick is by far the best. Not only do I have access to every tv streaming app that I love but I have music apps and games all in one place. This newer one is noticeably faster and the buffering is non existent. I've not only purchased one for every room in my house but I've given them as birthday and Christmas gifts as well.
