This 2nd generation runs faster than the hold but like all devices can run hot when over processing occurs. But overall it a great upgrade to the 1st gen. fire stick.

After continually having issues with my 55" LG smart tv(only with the Amazon prime app) I finally ended up buying the fire stick and not once have I had another issue. Plus I love how there is so much more available on the stick than what my smart tv offered. However, I do not recommend playing the solitaire game on there as it doesnt have enough movement to not burn the image in the tv. Otherwise great product!

This is one of the best streaming unit in the market right now and it's price right

This is my second purchase of an Amazon Fire stick (two TV's, in the process of "unplugging" from satellite/cable. Works just as well as my "old" stick that I bought around a couple years ago. Fantastic product and will be a great bridge to use as I hopefully completely unplug and remove myself from those high fees/costs for bundles of channels that I not only don't watch but no longer wish to be forced to fund.

I have the previous iteration of the Amazon Fire Stick and it was woefully inferior to the current generation Roku Stick in terms of speed and performance. This Fire Stick is much faster than its predecessor. Between the quad core processor and its ability to fully utilize AC rated modems, its sooo much faster than the old AFS. If you experienced buffering or performance problems, this upgraded stick is worth the money.

Product is very easy to use and good for watching movies and listening to music.

Once I plugged it in and synced it with my router it worked great. It streams so fast I seldom have to wait to continue what I am watching including football games.
