Great way to "cut the cord"

The initial setup was rather easy but I needed to teach my older friend how this new service worked and how it would enhance his viewing choices. The remote is easy to operate and Amazon offers many choices to get away from those pesky commercials. I would recommend the Firestick for it's ease of installation and many viewing choices.

Great streaming stick for Kodi!

I tell you what, I started hacking and cracking these things about 2 years back and obtained an elite status purty much on these. My buyers today are repeat buyers from the past.

Still learning the nuances

I have a problem with shutting down the system, I haven't found the power off function yet. All in All I like the firestick for the possibilities.

Needs a reboot every now and then

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Snappy interface, stable on wifi, good selection off apps (yeah Disney+ app). Every now and then the remote freaks out and it scrolls like crazy. It does need to be rebooted on a semi regular basis. I have also had to power cycle it because it's gone belly up. Unplugging it in my situation is a pain since it is on the back of the AVR.

Amazon Firestick

Using Kodi was able to get PBS that was too far away for antennae. Love the Alexa feature for voice commands. Just wish it could be integrated into universal remote (logitech)
