Bought this to replace one we have had for about 4 years ... all electronics can go out at one point, but it lasted a long time with heavy use!

Apple keeps delaying the release of Amazon Prime for AppleTV so I went ahead and bought this. It works if you want to watch Amazon Prime shows.

Firestick is pretty fast. I like more than Roku. Alexa built in is a bonus.

Setup could not be easier. The quality is an excellent build and all function work great. The remote control also works excellent!! Nice job!!!

I have Roku stick and Firestick bought the same week. I kept both because while I like Firestick better, I needed a Roku stick or a Samsung Smart TV to stream on a bedroom TV without a Spectrum cable box. Roku and Samsung Smart TV’s are the only ones that can download and use the Spectrum app to allow me to stream Live TV in another room without paying for another cable box every month. Having said that, if Firestick had the Spectrum app downloadable in their App Store, I would probably have 2 Firestick instead of one of each (Roku and Firestick). Firestick remote control is nicer to hold in your hand - slimmer and less clunky. The Firestick remote responds quicker than Roku remote. The graphics interface for everything is more sophisticated and nicer to look at and work with than the home screen and menus of the Roku. One wish list for all of these streaming devices on future models - it would be really helpful to make the remote a little bigger and put channel numbers 0 thru 9 on the remotes. My senior citizen mother is having a rough time with strictly using the arrow up, down, left and right buttons for getting to her channels. Also, I would like to see the ability to keep Firestick or Roku always on instead of auto sleeping after some time passes. When Mom turns off the TV and comes back to it later, she has to choose her source first, press a button to wake the Roku, wait for the Roku to come up and then choose the Spectrum app and wait for it to load before she can begin watching live tv again. Highly recommend this Firestick over Roku if you do not need the Spectrum TV app specifically. It would have been 5 stars from me if it had the Spectrum app and I did not have to buy one of each.

Haven’t used Alexa much but the fire stick with Kodi installed brings in pretty much any program I want to watch. A little cumbersome at times.

The fire stick is very user friendly and great for streaming media.

Looks great, but this is a Christmas present and has not been used yet. I always have good luck with products from Best Buy so keep coming back

It has great amazon properties and i can access some smart home stuff. Dont jailbreak it , it will crash your device, and you have to reset it

The Amazon Firestick is a great purchase. Love how it is connected to my Amazon account and I am able to utilize the features on my television

I finally had enough of cable increases and found this way to get what I wanted for $100 a month less. Yes, it cost $40 and I had to buy an amplified antenna for local stations. But all the hardware was less than one month of cable. The picture and sound is in most cases superior to what I had and by adding Sling for $20 I get all the cable stations I watched before.

Easy to use and intuitive. Need to keep track of the battery though!
