I bought this to use with the new Directv Now service. I have the Amazon Fire box and Apple TV box and several Roku boxes and this works just as well for a very good price. I was concerned about it going in the back of my TV since I have other things plugged in but it comes with an adapter that lets it hang down and not take up any more room than a regular HDMI cord.

Simple to setup and easy to use but keep in mind YouTube is pulling the app on the 1st day of 2018 and there is no vudu app. It works fine but really only get it if you have Amazon streaming services.

Since we don't have cable in our household, purchasing this firestick has been a life saver!! We have 4 throughout the house and it keeps my daughter occupied in her room while we are trying to get things done around the house:) with all the different apps you can choose from, and also purchasing a slingtv subscription, I will never think about going back to cable!

I love the firestick. Works better then my 70" smart tv. I recommend you put Kodi on it. TV will never be the same. Alexa works great too.

If you don't have or can't afford a smart TV this is what you need to cut the cord! Perfect for getting rid of cable TV and satellite TV!!

Being android based it is easy to install many streaming applications and the dual band connectivity means your streams will load quickly.

The fire TV comes in 2 form factors. 1 is a small thin box the size of 2 decks of cards laying flat side by side and the 2nd is a small USB key that requires an open USB slot on your TV and in most cases also is plugged into a power strip or outlet. This version, unlike the box version requires wireless and doesn't take a wired Ethernet. Make sure you have a strong wifi signal. For the most part my signal is far from my wifi router and still works very well. Streams Netflix and Amazon prime and YouTube very well and also allows gaming. It's not as fast as the box version but it works well.

I was excited when the FireSticks were finally back in stock. I had heard so much about them, I just had to have one, and I'm not disappointed. Right out of the box, it was ready to use. Just associate your Amazon account, and you are ready to go. If you have any other premium accounts, Netflix, HBO Go, etc, just sign into those as well, and just sit back and enjoy.

The amazon firestick is great! The apps are fast. The remote control is convenient. So much entertainment to gain from such a small device!

I like being able to stream movies at home without the hassle of finding it at a redbox that has it then having to remember to return it only to find that the box is full and I have to go find another one. It is also easier to navigate through and watch my amazon prime movies and tv shows without having to hook my computer up to the tv - I don't have a SMART TV.

This is one of my best purchases that I’ve made! I live out in the middle of nowhere. I got this for my TV so I could view Netflix. It is so much more than even that; games, music and much more. It is very easy to install and so easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

The updated verison of fire tv is much improved. The speed and performance are definitely better. Highly recommend as a new or upgrade from the previous verison.

I was a little hesitant at first, but because this was a Deal of the Day I thought I would try it out. I have an original Fire TV Stick, and it's pretty slow. I have to say, this is a definite and noticeable upgrade. I have not had any speed issues with the apps I have used - Netflix, DircTV Now, YouTube, etc. I have not yet tried the voice remote.
