When our Directv contract ends in May, we plan on buying a fire stick for every TV in our house. This is a magical stick!!! We have just begun to unlock the wonders that the fire stick offers as far as apps, downloads, traveling use....I wish we had invested in this much sooner -- would have been saving us hundreds of dollars each month.

This is my second firestick purchase. I love all the apps available and free previews. I have it on a tv that is not hooked up to cable but it is not necessary because there is always something to watch on the firestick. You do however need wifi. The picture is clear and as long as your wifi is strong enough it will pause or keep searching.

Well I finally took the plunge..... I disconnected cable!! I should have done it sooner, I love the firestick.., so many tv options.

I decided to cancel my outrageous cable and just keep internet and get the fire stick and I love it! I wish I would have bought this months ago. I can get everything I want and my husband too. Actually we liked it so much in the living room we purchased another one a week later for the bedroom. Easy to setup, I highly recommend to anyone!

I basically wanted an easy solution to streaming plex onto my TV. I did try the Roku, but I found that the Amazon Fire Stick was much more responsive and easy to use. Only thing dropping this down a star would be it does occasionally just "stop". I can't say freeze, or crash, it just seems to fall asleep. Not a huge thing, but other than that, comes packed with options for tv,movies, etc. (i don't dabble in the etc.) For my usage of plex (which their app has some catching up to do) and the WWE, this works like a charm. Alexa, takes some getting used to, though.

I love the firestick. You can actually see movies in theatres now once they are streamed. It's just great to own and worth it. You can see all genres of movies and tv shows that have been streamed. You have various options to find the right quality of movies and tv shows. Better get on top of this and get it before they ban it lol. Very easy to install.

I used a gift card received at Christmas to make this purchase. My wife and I were looking to get something we could stream Netflix and Hulu while traveling. It worked well while in Nashville at the hotel. We decided to cut costs and cut cable and use this to stream from as it has a great deal of apps and content on it. It's working great.

If you don’t have a smart tv I advice the fire stick as for the price and the remote control to make things easier and convenient.
