Really useful when compared to the Chromecast. Both work the same but I prefer the interface of this model. Recommended!

Bought this unit because of the Dish Network app. Device works great. Saving $7 a month for an unnecessary receiver fee. It pays for itself in 5 months. I also have Amazon Prime membership and works flawlessly when streaming Prime movies. There are many more apps besides Dish and Amazon Prime that I have yet to try.

It may not be the fastest streaming device but it gets the job done if you are looking to stay at the lower price point.

Fast performance, easy to use, great apps, best ok market

We bought one to try it out and liked it so much we got two more. It's simple to set up and so easy to navigate that my kids can use it with no problem. Great way to access all of the content on Netflix and Amazon Prime, and with a service like Hulu + Live, we don't even miss our cable and save over $200/month.

Close to cutting the cord and not because of Kodi. This has been great for our tv services and such through setv as well.

Just a good streaming device and a great easy gift for anyone. Maybe not your grandparents though unless you want to set it up for them as well. Grants access to Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and any other streaming service you may have a subscription to or if you just have one of your friend's log in. The Fire TV itself is better if you will be constantly using it versus this streaming stick due to processing power and reliability. This is just a good gift that pretty much every household should have.

This device works very well and easy to set up for older TVs without the smart capabilities. Not only has the Amazon app but others as well especially Netflix. Remote is easy to use but does have annoying clicking sound when using a function. Negatives are that the AC cord is somewhat short and device does stick out given its length.

After hearing many friends talk about how they get to watch their favorite shows or movies I had to have one. Worth it.

I love my fire stick. I didnt know anything about the fire srick until I overheard my son talking about it. He convinced me to buy one and I am so glad I did. No more commercials, or being behind on shows or waiting in line at the theater. i love it so much Im to get a fire stick for all my kids rooms after Christmas. Beat thing ever.

A great device to plug in to your tv to make it smart capable without having to get a new tv. Nice to be able to stream anything you want. I recommend having Amazon Prime if you get it though because all of the shows and movies advertised are from Prime. Without it, you'd see a bunch of movies and tv you can't stream.

I have enjoyed the fire stick for about a month now. It was easy to setup and we purchased it since we "cut the cord" and now stream tv. It's definitely a different interface from the Apple TV gen 4(remote keys are diff too)so it may get some getting used to if you have an Apple TV product. I did not like the short power cord to power the product. Unless your TV is right next to an available outlet you will have to use a power strip or ext cord. You will need an amazon account to download apps. Other than that I have enjoyed the product.
