I have the roku and firestick now. and well they basically both the same. Benefit of having fire stick is if you have Prime and enjoy watching videos from prime then this is for you. Either way you can go wrong with either or.

Easy to use and great price ,best box I have ever bought

I got this because My old firestick has been lagging and I’m glad I did because i can tell the difference right away. Like for instance when I use my phone as a remote, it shows up and connects much quicker than it would with the older version. If you’re thinking of uprading just go for it. You will not regret it

Great product for streaming. Alexa is awesome function.

I would say this is just okay. I have been using Roku 2 for quite a while and hence, I'm able to do some comparison. I'm suggesting a better layout for the icons of the apps installed. They look cluttered to me, on the screen. This is very much unlike Roku's layout which is really pleasing to the eye. Some programs on Hulu just stop responding after playing the ad. It freezes and never plays the program until I leave, out of frustration. This has happened with MSNBC and a couple other programs but everything I stream on Roku responds. I don't know why. The most annoying thing about the fire stick is opening the battery compartment of the remote control. I was excited to learn about the release of the Alexa enabled Fire stick and pre-ordered mine on BestBuy. I received it on the 20th, the release date and was excited about powering it up. Lo and behold, I struggled with the remote control for hours! Checked here for help on how to open it...response was not too helpful. I discovered I wasn't the only one with that issue. I proceeded to Youtube to find help. It was there that I found a suggestion on how to open it. It didn't happen immediately too. At the end of the day, I got it open with scratches already on a brand new item I had not even used. That was a great heachache!! If you're designing something for consumers to use and enjoy, please make it user friendly. It's not fair to have to end up with bruised fingers, broken nails and so much anxiety, all because you want to to be entertained on TV. The only consolation is Alexa....I don't have to type in what I'm looking for. That's why my rating is four stars.

This item is just the best. There are other media streaming devices, I know I own them all, and the new Firestick is better. Plus since I have WiFi switches and WiFi plugs I can control these with using the Alexa App. Alexa ROCKS! I ordered a pizza using my Firestick! I asked it how to spell a word and it tells me, This is so cool.

I bought the stick to watches online movies. The stick works great. I like it. The setup was easy and straightforward. Also, I appreciate the Best Buy representative who help me placed order that day even though there was no product at the store that day. The shipment was fast and free I don't need to wait that long to get it.

I bought 2 of the firestick for my living room and bedroom. it is definately worth the cost. Some good points are as below- -All apps at on one device. It being an Android based firmware, it was real easy to get all your apps for streaming/games. - Inbuilt Bluetooth can connect to your BlueTooth headphone. You can watch your content without disturbing anybody else. -Portability is so good. I can carry it around with me during my travel. This has all my streaming apps. I just need to connect to wifi and all my content is available.

I love everything you can do with a Firestick. Very efficient, good selection of apps. Better than the apple tv i used to have.

Excellent for the price and the size you can't beat it

If you have Amazon Prime, Netflix (and I say PBS and Acorn TV), you can have plenty of things to watch using this device and downloading other free apps (You Tube etc.) This was a replacement for a unit we bought a couple of years ago and my husband litterally wore it out. I recommend it to everyone.

Easy to use, setup and works great with my extra TVs

My recently purchased Amazon fire stick offers quality apps. I enjoy being able to use the fire stick with Amazon echo.

It's great. Easy to navigate and setup. Lots of apps.

Great alternative to getting cable. Has great range with WiFi, downloads are fast, processing is fast. Would recommend.
