Have been a loyal Roku user for years but this Amazon fire stick is great. Blows away the Roku Stick in terms of speed and time to start up. Excellent content and easy to use interface. Focus's on content rather than on channels, which is great. My second one and I am sure not my last.

I own 5 Amazon Fire Tv's paying up to 99.00 but this 2nd generation stick is almost as good and less than half the price. While it's great for Amazon Prime and my purchased Amazon content it will not play my more than 500 ultraviolet and VUDU movies so I also got a Roku Ultra for those!

I finally cut cable and wasn’t sure which route to take, but so far I am very happy with the fire stick. I use it mostly for Netflix and Prime, but occasionally access other apps for tv too. It was easy to install (works with Alexa too) and very straightforward to use.

Even though I read all the reviews and even spoke to others who own the fire stick. I was still skeptcal since it sounded too good to be true. But once I hooked the fire stick up, I was hooked and made a believer. the ease of use and the options that are available are worth every penny.

Good streaming but it lags and disconnects. At times i have to restart router or log out of network and back in

The Amazon Fire TV Stick gives you easy access to TV content. I used to use Google Chromecast, but this makes accessing TV content MUCH faster. Great picture quality for 720p & 1080p TVs, but upgrade to the Amazon Fire TV 4K Ultra HD model to get the 4K picture quality.

Amazon is slowing starting to run all parts of my home. I own an Apple TV, google chrome cast, and now the Fire Stick. Hands down, I prefer using the Fire Stick. It is fast and the channel/app options work more with my preferences. Sad though that YouTube is no longer supported.

If you're not familiar with the firestick I would definitely say its a must buy if you plan on doing streaming. It let's you put most if not all of your streaming accounts in 1 secure place. Easy to take on the go as well.

I have a "dumb" TV in my gameroom, and it's not hooked up to cable. With the Fire Stick, I'm able to connect to the internet, and also connect to my Sling Box in a different part of my house. What a bargain. Works perfectly and very easy to set up. I would definitely recommend.

Overall this is a pretty good investment. It is easy to end up on shows that have to be paid for, which is a bummer. I wish there was a way to pull up only those shows that are free with amazon prime. I enjoy the ease of use though. It is nice to just tell Alexa what you would like to see.

Second one I've bought--one for den, one for bedroom. Super easy and intuitive set up. Easy and use. I'm a Prime customer so I enjoy lots of free content. Alexa voice works and we had a hilarious evening asking her silly questions--like "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck..." Fun!
