The Firestick made an excellent birthday gift.. nn hidden or extra fees. Just great tv.

Excellent if you plan on not using the factory settings and customizing... It is also cheaper to us to mirror “i” devices to than an AppleTV with a $2.99 app. It is great for streaming tons of movies. I find myself watching more movies than I have ever in the past.

This is a pretty easy find. The Amazon fire stick has Amazon prime video,Netflix,hbo go, and others for things like sports and news. Although it's a lot of substitutions I think it's worth it. Only pay for what you want and the fire stick makes it easy to use all in one spot.

Set up was straight forward for this 70ish guy once I discovered our old TV’s USB port didn’t have enough ooomph to power the unit. I plugged it into a nearby wall socket and all went well after that. Was able to stream Amazon Prime stuff right away.

Would totally buy again if needed. I don't have a smart tv and I didn't want to go spend hundreds of dollar for a new one if I had a perfectly good one at home. So I asked a sales person and they recommended me this product it is a very good product for only 35 dollars.

Love the mic feature! This is a very easy product to use, and the apps load up quickly.

Love my FireStick! Although I have a smart tv I like having all apps I go into all together and this is exactly what the Fire Stick has been able to do for me. Quick access and great streaming without interruptions. I like the new design of the remote and much more intuitive!

We've gotten rid of cable and recently gotten the firestick. It has turned out to be just as good as cable! Makes everything so much easier and all in one place! Since we already have an amazon prime acct it worked heavenly! Ended up buying 2 more for some of the bedrooms!

I have installed many of these for friends and family over the years, and this one worked just fine. It is the Amazon Fire TV Stick, 2nd Generation, so it does not have Hardware Deinterlacing built in, so if you use it with a HDHomeRun Connect, Duo, Quatro or even the Extend in native mode, and you are watching 1080i or even 480i interlaced video from broadcasters, it will not look very good. Using Kodi and enabling Software Deinterlacing or upgrading to the Amazon Fire TV Pendant or the latest Version 3 of the Amazon Fire TV Stick will solve the problem as they both have HARDWARE DEINTERLACING built into the devices. If you plan on watching only Netflix or ANY other Streaming Service such as Sling, Playstation Vue, Hulu, etc., deinterlacing is not required and will not be a problem for you, and this device will work just fine! Love being a CordCutter!!!

I am enjoyng my Fire Stick. Installation was very simple. You can also cast to this item with the google cast aplication as well. Say good bye to the cable, eveyrhing I need to watch is right here. My 2 year old grandaughter knows how to speak into it and get all of kid videos.

Great for streaming movies and music. Good movie selection , nice alternative to cable.

I love the Amazon Firestick! I own 2. I use one on a smart TV and one on a regular HD TV, but I might as well have 2 regular TV's because I only use the firestick. It's easy to set up and use. Sleek design and the app itself has a beautiful look. Highly recommend!!

We will never go back to traditional cable or satellite TV!! This is the best way to watch TV. Download and subscribe to the apps you want and you can watch almost anything you can on cable or satellite. Just remember to get an antenna for local channels.

I have been wanting to cut the cable cord for some time. Couldn't decide on what system to use for TV watching. Son purchased a Fire Stick and loved it. I bought one and haven't been disappointed. It was a great feeling calling the cable company to cancel! Highly recommend.

Love this thing, since I bought and installed have not watched normal cable and will be cutting cable after this month. Just need a good internet connection and your good to go. Works with Hulu,Netfix,Plex, Amazon and about 200 other apps. Plan to add to all my TVs this month.
