I don't have cable and have used these streaming devices to watch TV. The Amazon Fire Stick is by far the best I've tried. It streams content fast with little to no issues. The remote is easy to use and the Alexa feature is fun, useful, and definitely a bonus.

It helps to know that it saves on the cable services when having this device.

I have 3 Chromecast and I wish I had 3 fire sticks. Firesticks are more easier to use then Chromcast and Firestick menus are much easier to understand. You don't need your phone or a tablet, all you need is the remote or just tell Alexa

I purchased one for my family members so they could cut some of their high cable bills by eliminating premium channels. Hours of entertainment via the firestick when you have prime...you can also add Netflix, Hulu or other apps that are free.

I love this Amazon firestick. It is the one item that tears me away from Apple. I have five Apple TVs throughout the house. About two years ago we cut the cable completely. I happened on a black Friday deal on the fire stick, I bought my first one. My wife loves it so much that it is all she wants. Slowly but surely, we drifted from the AppleTV. In fact, this Black Friday I purchased the newest Apple TV and immediately took it back. Most unhappy with that remote and the fact that Apple has way too much control. We've Gone from a Hulu, Netflix Apple TV fan to the Amazon fire stick and Amazon prime membership fan. For the price of one Apple TV, you can buy roughly 3 of these and the cost quality ratio factor is dramatically higher. These are extremely hard to get right now and they seem to be on backorder. Even Amazon doesn't seem to have them in stock.

It's set me free - from cable. I have been a cable and satellite TV subscriber - no longer! It's a bit hard to maneuver at first, but you get used to it fairly quickly.

Was looking for something to use on my extra TV's upstairs. A little disappointed that Comcast does not support channels such as the History channel and Discovery apps.

Easy to setup and works great. No issues so far. Works well with alexa nd ring doorbell.
