this has been a great buy for my family we have used it for movies catch up on shows this has really paid for itself amazon has done good on this and the control is easy to use the entire set up process takes minutes cant go wrong with this buy

The device itself is a good streaming device, this one is different from the previous model, this one will probably require an external power source, I plugged mine to my TV and it displayed a waring on the screen about insufficient power, the unit gets warm dont know if this will affect the performance in the future but for now it loads a lot faster than previous version.

We now have two of these and have dropped Satellite TV saving money.

I am so glad I bought this! It came with a free trial of sling tv which is so much better and cheaper than my current satellite subscription. Even the picture comes in clearer than what I get from the satellite receiver.

I used to alway make fun of standalone streaming devices. Why pay money for something that only does what my PS4, Xbox, or computer can do? However, I was surprised how much I like it. Super easy to set up and navigate. If you have a PS4 or Xbox on the TV, you likely do not need it, but it is MUCH better than the streaming app on my Blu Ray and Smart TV in other rooms.

Great device, wouldn't use as main source of streaming in a household. (bedroom or guest room). Ethernet connection similar to firetv makes it so much better.

I thought and thought about getting this and finally broke down. So sorry I waited this long. I love the freedom from set schedules that never match mine. The variety and constantly expanding offerings are a cinephile's dream come true. Love it!

The Amazon Fire TV stick with Alexa Voice Remote is a must for Amazon Prime members. The layout is easier to use than Roku or Google Chromecast. The voice remote is a great plus. Alexa voice recognition is super accurate.
