If you already have an account with different streaming services and you want something portable to hook up to a tv on the go, this is one of the cheapest ways to do it, especially if you have amazon prime.

We purchased the firestick for our basement / bonus room tv. It's easy to use, and the kids are able to safely pick movies from a variety of streaming platforms. Big savings over putting cable down there!

It is definitely faster then our Roku 3, but I do miss the built in headphone jack. You can connect bluetooth headphones, but then you have to remember to charge them. Still a great device, especially for the price!

I had reviewed this item many times. I went ahead and purchased it. Connecting it was easy. It replaced an old huge electronic unit that I used to watch movies. The entertainment area now looks much better.
