We've had a fire and fire stick now for nearly a year. Both have performed well and allow us to search for movies that we use with Amazon Prime and Netflix. I guess this would be useful for anyone searching for content, but you'll need to pay (probably) for a movie if you don't have a subscription to Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime or something similar. We also like that we can download some simple games and use it for our grocery lists, weather forecasts, and playing music. When not using it for movies, it's like having an echo or echo dot. You just have to hit the button on the remote (assuming you have the voice remote option!).

recommended by my neighbor. I was not disappointed. I really love this Firestick with Alexa Voice Remote. It also came with an HDTV antenna.I am very pleased with these items.

I love these Firesticks by Amazon! I have them in my guest rooms and vacation homes. You can learn how to sideload apps from You Tube and load everything you can imagine.

So far really enjoyed what the Fire Stick does and the ability to take it with you when you travel has become an added benefit. Like taking your home TV and channels with you.

This product is easy to install and has everything you need to deliver internet content to your HDTV. The signal can be amplified with a $25 device to broadcast to multiple TVs.

The device was very easy to use an set up. I brought only one to see if it were actually worth it & couldn’t be anymore pleased. I will be going to get more for my other rooms.

I purchased the Amazon Kindle Fire for my daughters room so she could watch Netflix on her TV. This is a great product! My 20 year old daughter has been able to watch Netflix and many other free channels with this device. We have not had any problems with the device and it is easy to install. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking to turn your basic TV into a TV equitant to a Smart TV. Thumbs up for me on this product.

Works great easy to use bought it because the wii that we have was not compatible with our Netflix anymore, always had trouble with Netflix loading until we got the fire stick

Even though there are a few of the options that I am not ready to pay for, there is still plenty of entertainment value available with my existing subscriptions and what is available for free. Setup was quick and easy however; I could see where those that are technically challenged would struggle a bit.

I have 4 amazon fire sticks and can say that these firesticks are awesome for anyone who wants a uncomplicated movie and tv and also fun for kids who like playing basic games

After trying the Fire stick I was impressed enough to gift two others for family members. It works as advertised and I've experienced no problems as yet. Good product Amazon.

I purchased Google Chromecast, Netbox, and the Amazon Fire TV Stick, hands down the Amazon Fire TV Stick out performs other streaming devices. For one, there is hardly a lag when streaming from the Amazon Fire TV Stick, navigation from the remote is simple as well. The GUI continues to be improved, and there's constant upgrades. I should have purchased two instead of buying one of the other devices, Amazon clearly has streaming tv down.

This updated firestick is a good improvement over the original! It loads a little faster than the prior model and everything just feels snappier. Being able to use Alexa from the remote is also a nice bonus that actually works quite well. Just make sure the batteries in the remote are fresh. Voice recognition doesn't work so well if the batteries are low even though the remote itself may still function well.

These things are amazing. I dropped my whole home TV provider and bought multiple Firesticks to provide my entire house with more than enough programming to keep us occupied.

We can basically watch whatever we want(for a price) because Amazon is such a huge store you can basically rent or buy any movie. It also has tons of apps. Very happy with it.

So i bought this on somewhat of a whim on Black Friday. I had been looking at Roku's for sometime.. but the price on the Firestick was too good to pass up. I have multiple tv's, but none of them are 'smart'. Initially I wanted something to be able to stream content from my PC.. this works perfectly for that purpose using the Plex app. Although i've noticed that large files do tend to 'bog' it down. You don't need a prime membership to be able to use this device, in fact i used primarily netflix for several months. Recently though I bought a prime membership so i can view their content as well. Streaming anything off the internet works flawlessly (primarily Prime, Netflix, and Youtube for me). I like that it's super portable and easy to move. It does require an ac outlet, I tried running it off the usb port on my tv's and it gives an error message about not enough power. No big deal though. I find the remote to be intuitive and easy to use. I also like that you can install a version of Firefox to browse the web. All in all i'm really happy with this device and would recommend it to beginners looking to turn an older tv into a smart tv.

This turn my normal TV into a smarter TV. It was easy to use straight out of the box. I'm not very technologically advanced but had no problem setting this up. My only complaint would be that sometimes it takes a little for my shows to load which may be due to my internet speed and not the fire stick.

I'm so cutting the cord after this purchase. Bought this item during black Friday and I am so glad I did. Price was great and I can't wait to get it all setup with my Alexa!

What can be said? The Amazon Fire Stick w/ Alexa voice controlled remote is well priced and its packed full of cord cutter goodies. If you have Amazon Prime, The selection of media, not only has music, digital items, ie. Kindle but it also includes Prime Video on the Firestick. A piece of media technology that is easy to use, many features make the Amazon Firestick wAlexa Voice remote. Buy it..

I bought this over the Chromecast, this was by far the better decision. It has everything I need in one place. The guide is simple and have quick access to my Prime movies.
