I gave a bunch of them as Xmas gifts and they all loved them. I had their friends and family asking for them. It is definitely faster than the first generation and the Alexa voice is such an improvement. I love how they pack everything in that box and the free batteries for the remote are a plus. If I could improve anything it would be to have alpha numeric keypad, but satisfied for now.

this thing is great. If you own a tv that's not smart this is a must. I now have 2 tv's I can watch a ton of stuff on without additional cable boxes.

This is my second Amazon firestick and it is most definitely worth buying. My first one was a first generation and this new one is so much faster and better than that one. The difference is amazing. If you've been on the fence about getting one of these or any streaming device I'd recommend this 2nd generation firestick. It's got everything and there's so much more you can add.

It is a great add on to Amazon prime and Alexa. I have 2 now and will be purchasing another so all our smart TVs have one so I can cut the cable cord

The firestick is great! I bought this one to replace the first gen I had. The second gen is much faster then the older one but would like more memory.

This little thing is a great device for your entertainment needs. This is much improved over the 1st generation fire sticks that came out a while back. The ability to use Alexa voice control is a great added feature and makes search for your favorite content much easier. Although this is a very good device, it also has its downsides. My remote is finicky, sometimes it will not register inputs. This may be isolated to my remote, but it is still a quality issue. The fire stick itself also gets very hot after a few hours of use. It does make feel uncomfortable after a prolonged session. Another thing that bugs me is that there’s no way to turn the device off. There is no power button/on/off switch. This will go into standby or sleep mode instead. The only way to turn it off is to cut off the power to the device by unplugging it from the power source or cutting off the power source via a power strip. Although it states that in standby mode, the device consumes very little power, I like it to not consume any power if it’s not in use.

Works great. Installed additional apps to watch more contents. I have yet to figure out why i can't move it between tv's but overall I'm satisfied .

I already had one of these and really enjoy it. Bought this one to put on additional tv so we do not have to move the current one from room to room.

In the times of negative news and propaganda. This gives me an opportunity for my family and I to enjoy programs we like at a nice affordable price!

Kid friendly. Bought this for my 10-year old and she navigates to her Netflix program without any help.it also has access to other tv/media outlets.

It’s really easy to use and has everything we need in a simple remote! No wires!! Plugs into hdmi input and the power cable plugs into USB port on tv

Always used Apple TV 2nd gen and google chrome cast for streaming, the fire stick is the best of both worlds rolled into one device at a cheap price

This is my third purchase of a Fire Stick, I cut the cord three years ago and I do not regret my decision. This is an awesome invention !!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a great thing to have especially for when you lazy and want to just talk to Alexa and have her put on whatever channel or movie you ask her to.

Compared to my Apple TV which i paid $99 for this is just a fraction of the cost and I like the fact that I can transfer from TV to TV effortlessly.

The Amazon Fire Sticks give me the ability to have all my apps and one with such a fluid motion and easy to work especially when it comes to my kids.

I already had 2 fire sticks for my home and have now started purchasing them as gifts for family members. With the exception of my stuck in their ways parents, everyone has loved them as much, if not more, than I do! If you're tired of cable/satellite providers with high prices, bad service and contracts THIS is the way to go! Watch what you want, when you want, EASILY!

I was a long time Roku user, having one attached to every television in my home. Fire Stick has changed everything and I will never go back to Roku.

Easy to set up. But kinda confusing to get apps on there at 1st. Had to YouTube a few videos. After that now I am good. This will replace my cable.

I used a family members Fire stick and saw how easy it was to search for programs with Alexa. Best device to have when weaning off high priced cable!
