Easy to install, remote quit working after 4 mos

Everything worked great, until the remote stopped working (new batteries did not help), just after I had purchased a second one for another TV. The further wrinkle is that last week came word that the Amazon Fire Stick may soon be blocked from accessing Google's YouTube so I returned the newer (not yet opened) one to Best Buy for a refund, and bought a Roku. (Installing the Roku with my home theater/Harmony remote setup has been a nightmare.) The first Fire Stick can't be returned to Best Buy, so I'll be contacting Amazon for a refund or, more likely, a replacement that still won't get me connected to YouTube.
